it had been two weeks since they had their movie night together and san had been spending his session break with wooyoung almost everyday.

it wasn't anything special, he just wanted to make up for the days missed by spending as much time as possible with his best friend. what troubled yeosang the most was the fact that he hadn't talked to his best friend properly for a month and to say that he missed him a lot would be an understatement.

his fingers lingered at the edge of his phone contemplating whether he should ring him up or not. as if on que, his phone started ringing and he almost threw it away upon seeing wooyoung's name appearing on the screen.

he saw san coming out of the bathroom soaking his hairs in the white towel. he smiled at the older before making his way to his bed.

"hello?"

"you fucking bastard! how big is your ego that you couldn't put it low for once to call me first?!?"

he could imagine wooyoung holding a pillow practically crushing it in anger. he almost let out a laugh but resisted knowing it would anger the younger even more.

"i was about to call you."

"yea, how far was your phone that it took you a month to talk to me?"

yeosang looked at san who was already looking at him with a raised brow probably confused at who made yeosang act this timid out of nowhere.

"hey stop being sarcastic! that's my job."

he heard wooyoung sighing on the other side and putting down something probably the pillow he was holding onto and sigh again.

"stop sig--"

"i miss you so much."

yeosang unknowingly smiled at his best friend's confession. wooyoung knew how difficult it was for yeosang to express how he felt. they were complete opposite. while wooyoung had no problem expressing his feelings, yeosang had a hard time expressing them.

"i know woo. i miss you too."

the other side went silent for a few seconds which made yeosang look at his phone to check whether wooyoung had hung up on him or what.

"am i really talking to yeosang, like yeosang as in kang yeosang. i mean yeosang, my best friend since middle school?"

"be happy i said that i am not repeating it. it was so cringey."

yeosang laughed when he heard his best friend gagging on the other side.

they laughed as they continued talking for hours not caring that it was practically midnight, both of them lost in the conversation about everything and anything.

"so, you're telling me that you're imprint appeared?"

both of them said at the same time and yeosang giggled. indeed, they were best friends for a reason.

"yea, did you meet your soulmate?"

yeosang sighed slouching down and leaning his head on the couch with a pout.

"no. i mean i have had those burning pains quiet a few time but i never ran into my soulmate."

yeosang heard wooyoung laugh as he shuffled through some things and then let out a breathy chuckle.

"i think you know that i met mine."

"i think i do and when am i gonna meet yours one and only?"

"i think you have met him before."

"so its a him."

yeosang giggled teasingly before raising his eyebrow. wooyoung just said that he had met him before, that meant it was one of his friend or his friends' friends.

"its choi jongho."

yeosang eyes went wide at the mention of the familiar name. it was san's brother. no wonder san was that hurt when he found out about them.

"the apple kid?"

"hey, he isn't a kid. just a year younger than us."

"yea sure."

"i mean he is really adorable and can be intimidating at times. his smile is so cute oh my gawd! as soon as he smile i can feel the sun shining brighter than usual and even winds stops to admire him when he smiles and don't even let me start on his laughters, i mean it is very rare for him to laugh but when he does holy shit, it breaks my heart."

"that is a bit exaggerated to be honest but it is expected from you. you've always been over dramatic. trust me, when i met jongho all he did was laugh okay i am sure his laughters aren't rare."

"shut up, you don't know anything."

"sure, i don't."

they talked for a few minutes even though it was just wooyoung rambling about how precious his guy was. yeosang soon bid his goodbye and hung up.

he chuckled softly making his way to his bed. san was lying on his bed with his phone in his hand upside down.

"you could just say, you were waiting for me instead of pretending to use your phone."

yeosang bit his lips trying not to smile at the younger who just rolled his eyes at him.

"i was...i--whatever."

he huffed and put his phone on the nightstand before turning his back to yeosang and fake snoring.

"you're cute."

yeosang hadn't meant to say it out loud but it slipped out of his mouth unknowingly and he cursed himself for saying that.

"i know. thanks."

he heard san saying those words and a smile immediately found its way to his lips as he lied on his bed.

"who were you talking to?"

"why? why do you wanna know?"

"i just wanna know who made you smile like that."
