Chapter 13 - Not letting go...

Sana told his mom and sister that she was leaving for Punjab tonight and that this would be their last meeting unless they visit her in Punjab or she revisits Mumbai... which would not be any time sooner...

Sid's mom : Tune Sid ko bataayi yeh baat?

Sana : nahii Aunty... aur aap bhi mat batanaa usko please..

Sid's sister : Par q nahii bataa rahi tu yeh baat usko... usko toh yehi lag raha ha k tu yehi ha aanewale do din k liye...

Sana : Uska ek reason ha... aur isme galti bhi saari meri hi ha...

And then she explained her situation to them like how she has fallen in love with him and that she respects him too much to force her love on him and that all she wants is their friendship should never break because of her feelings for him and that she wants to leave early to clear her head and also she misses her home too much..

They understood her dilemma and Sana also made them promise her that they won't tell anything about this to him until she leaves tonight... They nodded their heads at that and gave her a precious long hug...

Sana knew that she's hurting him by not telling him but shayad usko bataa k wo jaa nahi paaegi... She never wanted to leave everything like this and run away... but her heart is winning over her mind and so she has decided to let it be that way because he deserves better...

When Sid returned home in the evening he had thought that he would spending the rest of night with Sana and spend as time they can together before she leaves for Punjab after 2 days... He wanted to show her around the city and take her to as many places he can within that short span of time... he wanted to make up for all the mistakes he did inside the house and those words that came out in sheer anger that were extremely hurtfull towards her... he knows she wont ever tell him or show him how hurt she was by him and portray in front of him to be strong but deep down she was this delicately soft hearted girl who forgives too easily but never forgets... and that's what he likes the most about her that she's too pure for this cruel world...

Sid : Maa.... Me Sana k saath bahar jaa raha hu... shayad se der ho jaaegi aane me... so aap aaram se so jaana..

Sid's mom : Sana k saath kahaa jaa raha ha?

Sid : Usko Mumbai ghumane... aur bas kuch baatein bhi karni thi usse...

Sid's mom : Tu abhi mat ja... kal chale jaana...abhi raat bhi honewaali ha na.. wo bhi thak gyii hogi.. (His mom so hated to lie like to her son but she had no choice but to stop him from meeting her.. her flight would be taking off in the next 2 hours and wo abhi airport k liye bhi nikal gyii hogi )

Sid : Nahii Maa... she's a ball of energy.. wo kabhi bhi thakti nahi ha... kal phir bahot late ho jaaega.. aaj hi jaaenge hum..

Sid's mom : Aaj rehne de na... (she was thinking of some reason to stop him... ) Aaj dekh ghar pe guests bhi aanewale ha... toh ruk ja thodi der.. phir mil k chale jaana...

Sid : Kaun aanewala ha?

Sid's mom : Tere mama-mami, aur tere bhai-bhabhi... sab aanewale ha...

Sid : Mujhe toh unka aisa koi call nahi aaya..!! Aur meine toh aaj morning me hi baat ki thi unse... unhone bola tha k nani ki health thik hone k baad aaenge who log..

Sid's mom : haan toh meri unse noon me baat hui thi na...

Sid : Maa... I know that you're lying... kya baat ha? Kyu nahi chahte aap k me Sana se abhi milne jaaun?!

Sid's mom : (murmered silently- wo wahaan hogi toh milne jaaega na usse...wo toh chali gyii wapas )

Sid : Kahaan chali gyii wapas?

Sid's mom : kya? Kaun?

Sid : Mom... ab aap achhe se batao mujhe k baat kya ha?!!

Sid's mom could no longer keep up the façade and told his son k Sana abhi 2 ghante baad waali flight se Punjab wapas jaa rahi ha... Sid was too shocked to hear this and usne 2 minute tak toh koi reaction hi nahi diya...

Sid's mom : Agar tu usse milna chahta ha toh airport pe jaa k mil le... warna wo chali jaaegi hamesha k liye..

Sid : Hamesha k liye... wo chhod k chali jaa rahi ha...aur usne mujhe yeh batana zaruri nahi samja... Q??!!

Sid's mom : Tere saare questions k answers sirf Sana hi de sakti ha...usse milna ha then rush to the airport before she leaves forever... Jaa rok le usse...

Sid without thinking twice took his car keys and ran downstairs towards the parking lot and started his car and drove off at almost a very high speed... He had been trying to call Sana but uska phone kabse bandh hi jaa raha tha.. then he called Shehbaaz and he thankfully picked up his call..he asked him about their exact location and Shehbaaz informed him that they hadn't checked in yet and were in the waiting lounge of the airport... Sid felt a sigh of relief but the this Mumbai ki traffic was giving him heck of a time... If he went on at this speed then he would never be able to reach the airport on time... He then took on to the short cut and went on to the airport as fast as possible...

Here Sana was getting restless as the passing of time and she was feeling too many things... fear, pain, love, hate, friendship... she didn't know right now whether she had made the right decision by not telling him about the same but she knew in her heart that its better this way... otherwise yeh saari feelings jo ha na hamari friendship ka the end kar deti.. aur me yeh bilkul bhi nahi chahti k aisa kuch ho... isiliye thode time k liye its better we stay far away from each other... kuch aadatein chhod deni hi achhi hoti ha... With that though she left for fetching some coffee from the nearby starbucks...

Sid had already reached the airport and was desparately searching for her everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found... he then called Shehbaaz and asked him where they were and he told him that Sana was at the starbucks store near the waiting lounge... Sid rushed there immediately and was so hellbent on being angry with her but usko dekhte hi pighal jaate ha Shuklaji...

Sana was sitting there alone sipping her decaf and had so much sadness in her eyes.. as soon as she turned around she saw Sid standing by her table... she instantly dropped her coffee... she was too surprised and shocked to see him standing there...

Sana : Sidhaarth... tu yahaan kya kar raha ha?? Kahii me phirse toh dream nahii dekh rahi na... (she goes on touch his shoulder but he backs away )

Sid just keeps on staring at her angrily... he was too angry to even say anything to her... more than angry he was shocked that she would do something like this to him after they had been through so much together...
