"Want anything to eat?" Your mother asked from the chair beside you.

"I'm alright, thanks" you muttered while looking out the window and at the grey clouds that still poured out rain.

It hadn't stopped raining for a week now which was strange as it was forecasted to be sunny.

"...sweetie, please eat something. You haven't eaten since yesterday" the funeral was held a week ago which had meant the attack was also around the same time.

Your parents came as soon as they could to the scene after getting a call from one of the hospitals in the area that you were taken to.

Your mother's cries were still very prominent in your mind as she stayed by your side until you finally woke up.

Since the funeral was held in Hwaseong (which was near to Seoul), the hospital suggested for you to be transferred over to Seoul as you were going to be driving a long way there and back if you had stayed in Gwangju.

"I'm just not feeling all that hungry" you answered bluntly. You had definitely lost a few pounds during the week; not being able to sleep properly, eating hardly anything except for medication to help you through the pain.

Your right thigh was bandaged up after receiving stitches to close up the gash wound. You also had bandages and plasters all over your body to cover the scratches and cuts that you got.

"Namjoon brought you these oranges, sweetie. At least have one?" At the mentioning of his name, you turned to your mother and then faced the bowl of oranges that were placed on the small table beside you.

After the funeral, Namjoon kept visiting you to make sure you were alright while also bringing fruit to help with your recovery.

You could tell he was tired himself from his eyes and from his complexion. But his smile was still as strong as before when he'd come and see you.

"...I'll have one then" relieved, your mother started to peel one of the oranges for you and split it in half for you to eat comfortably.

"Thanks... where did dad go?" You asked after noticing that his stuff was gone.

"Hm? Oh, someone from your work came and wanted to talk to you but your dad insisted that you needed rest and told them to come another time" you were curious as to who it could have been and for what reason.

The only person that had came to mind was Mr. Kang but your relationship with him was strictly work based. You knew how busy he was and since he was based in Daejon, there was no way he could find time to travel to Seoul and see you.

"Oh... did they say their name?"

"I didn't catch it, sorry" she answered while showing an apologetic smile.

"It's okay" looking down at the orange slices in your hand, you started to eat them one by one.

There were also a few others who had decided to come and see you; Myunghee was one of them but she couldn't stay for long as she had to deal with Eros' aftermath.

The public were certainly not happy with Eros' security during the festival and are filing lawsuits against them.

Jaeho had also visited briefly along with Yoongi. They informed of you what was happening and how Sehun was still missing. You couldn't blame him, if it weren't for your leg, you would have also ran from reality.

Jimin was also a frequent visitor since Taehyung and Jungkook were also in the same hospital and as patients.

At first, he couldn't look you in the eyes as he knew that he could have done better in trying to save you from the wounds you received as well as witnessing Taemin's death but you reassured him that it wasn't his fault.

He also updated you on Taehyung and Jungkook's conditions as you couldn't leave your room that often to go see them.

Taehyung's fight with the clay monster was his hardest fight yet and it clearly showed through his injuries.

Jungkook was also pretty knocked up from hitting all those trees but he would be fine after a week or so.

You hadn't seen Hoseok or Jin yet which was normal since their company would be going through a lot right now.

Kangjoon didn't visit either but that was a given. He was probably the busiest person in the country right now.

"Sweetie, I'll be right back. Just heading to the toilet" you acknowledged her with a nod and ushered her to go quickly before returning back to eating your oranges and looking out at the pouring rain.

The room fell silent and you could hear the rain clearly with the heart monitor beeping quietly in the back ground.

It hadn't hit you yet.

The death of Taemin was still seen as a nightmare that you were just waiting to wake up from.

This feeling was not foreign as it had happened when Jay died three years ago.

You had never felt so helpless than on that day.

Why couldn't it have been someone I didn't know?, you thought while trying not to let a tear slip.

Yes, it was selfish of you to think that way - wanting to put your burden on someone else, anyone else but you. But could they blame you? You had already went through this twice, the feeling of losing someone twice.

The tears were now pushing their way through, streaming down your face as you felt your heart ache.

The heart monitor began to beep rapidly, signalling the nurses that something was wrong and that you needed attention asap.

The beeping noise only made you feel worse as your body started to shake in fear and anger.

"...Taemin! I'm sorry! You must be so scared!" you cried out loud to the grey clouds. The door slammed open and revealed two nurses rushing their way towards you.

"Miss L/N, we need you to calm down-"

"I'm sorry Jay! I p-promised myself it wouldn't h-happen again but it did!" your screams could be heard by everyone on the hospital floor, even a certain hero who was trying his best to get to you as fast as he could.

The nurses were struggling to keep you down and to not let you harm yourself in anyway.

"Miss L/N! Please calm down!" The male had finally made it and pushed between the two nurses before engulfing you in to his arms. The feeling of the familiar arms around you slightly calmed you down but it wasn't until you heard his voice that you started to feel better.

"There's a light, there's the sun, taking all shattered ones. To the place we belong, and his love will conquer all" your breathing became regular as well as your heart from the sound of your mother's song. Wrapping your arms around him, you cried quietly into his shoulder while he rubbed your head soothingly.

The nurses stood back in awe, never seeing that method of calming down someone before. Realising that everything was under control, they decided to leave and closed the door behind them.

"Shhh, it's okay. I'm here now" he whispered in to your hair while holding you close to him.

Your body began to feel tired from the sudden outburst and your eyelids felt heavy shortly after. The urge to sleep was getting stronger and you allowed it to take over but before you could, you looked up to see your mother at the door with a shocked expression.
