The group ran out on to the porch where the heat had already reached their skin, shocking them slightly at the sudden change.
The temperature was already unbearable and the fire wasn't even that close but you knew how quick it was to spread.
"Everyone, get out there and stop the fire from spreading-" Namjoon had been interrupted by a sudden gust of wind coming from the zooming brunette who was making his way towards the centre of the fire where he would hopefully find the fire breather.
You groaned in annoyance as well as did the others. Jungkook had jumped in to action without thinking once again.
"Namjoon, you should freeze over the fire infested plants while the others try to find GDragon" Yoongi suggested to his partner, making him bite his lip in thought.
"...you're right. Yoongi and Hoseok should go and find Gdragon and make sure that Jungkook doesn't do anything stupid. Jimin and Taehyung should go and help out stop the fire from spreading and Jin should save any nearby people who were caught up in all of this" the heroes were a little unsure about his unexplained plan but they knew this was no time to argue and proceeded to go along with it.
All except you.
"Namjoon!" You grabbed his arm before he could run off to stop the fire. He looked back at you with as much as concern as before, listening intently as he made sure to take in your words.
"What about me? Shouldn't I be helping you guys, too?" The other stammered slightly before replying.
"...you should stay here, I don't want you getting hurt. Jaeho, Myunghee, please keep her here" and without sparing another word, he slid off on to his ice path along with the others who were heading over to save the island.
Your heart sank at his words. You had thought you were able to show your capabilities through these past few days but apparently not.
"...Y/N, maybe he's right. You just started-"
"I came here to prove myself and this is the perfect opportunity to do so! What's so wrong about letting them having extra help?" You ranted, letting your anger be evident in your voice.
"Listen, Y/N. This isn't training anymore, this is real life-" Jaeho was suddenly interrupted by Mr. Kang clicking his fingers in realisation.
"Your suit!"
"...huh?" The three of you exclaimed simultaneously.
"I managed to bring your hero suit that the hero academy made for your graduation! I'm sure you'll be amazed at the upgrades!" The elder ran off towards the suitcase that he had brought and quickly zipped it open.
Curiously, all three of you ran over to see what your ex-boss had meant until you saw your familiar white and black hero suit.

"Woah... it looks so much different" most hero academies had basic hero suits with their academy colours as the base but after graduation you were allowed to redesign it however you want.
You remember designing it over and over again with many drafts being sent over to the manufacturers. Only, you never saw the last official product since you didn't graduate.
"How does that help? Y/N is still inexperienced-"
"There was a reason why the hero council were persistent on hiring her as a Protector and it wasn't just because of her powers. Trust your friend, she's way better than you make her out to be" Mr. Kang defended, making you smile sweetly at his words about you.
Myunghee sighed before looking over at you.
"Its not that I don't trust her... it's just that I don't want to see my best friend getting hurt" without thinking twice, you wrapped your arms around the shorter girl and pulled her in to a warm embrace.
"I'll be fine, I promise" you whispered before feeling her arms tighten around you.
"You better" after a few seconds, you two finally let go of one another and you looked at the other two for confirmation.
Jaeho gave you a thumbs up to go and Mr. Kang held your hero suit up for you to take.
You grabbed the suit tenderly while trying to take it all in.
A smirk greeted your lips before looking up at the people in front of you.
