Lost

Two days later
Axton 3rd person
Axton gets everyone together when the teams arrive back. He clears his throat, "so the groups have all done well. she's still being held in the same spot with many guards and probably more and more as we speak. Junior is held at one of the top normal cells. I will tell Lilith and maybe in a day or two we'll be ready. Sarah wanted to see me tomorrow so wish me luck." His closest friend, Matt came up beside him. Matt frowns, "I wouldn't do it." Everyone filed out and Axton raises an eyebrow, "why?" Matt sighs, "she's going to do anything she can to break Liz. She knows that you two are close. She'll hold you captive and hurt you just to break Liz." Axton smirks with a good plan, "I'll let her." Matt gasps with a bit of shock, "what!?" Axton chuckles, "if she does that all I need is to put the hacking chip on my body and program it to hack her arm while she takes me." Matt smiles and relieved that he didn't want to die, "that's a good plan. Need me to program it." Axton waves his hand, "nah. I'll do it. You need to get the guys ready to come help tomorrow. I'll get Lilith down here." Matt nods and walks out. Axton quickly echos Lilith, "Lilith I need you to come tomorrow with a lot of reinforcements. We're breaking her and junior out tomorrow." Lilith sighs, "are you sure?" Axton goes through the plan really quickly in his head then spills, "Sarah is going to capture me tomorrow." Lilith raises her voice, "why are you happy about that? Why is this the plan?" Axton laughs, "I'm going to let her capture me and I'm going to program the hacking chip and put it on my body so I can get the key." Lilith let's out a breath of a relief, "that's a good idea. I thought you wanted to die or something." Axton chuckles at the remark, "no. All I want is to get her out and I really don't care if I died while getting her out." Lilith softens her voice, "Liz would not want that. She can't live without you." Axton feels the burning in his eyes, "she probably thinks I'm the biggest asshole ever. She wouldn't care." Lilith's voice cracks, "you don't know that. She loves you to death still. When you rescue her she'll forgive you and she'll be in your arms again. She never stopped loving you and I'm pretty sure that Sarah told her the truth to get her to forgive you so she can break her." Axton sniffles, making the burning go away, "that is true. Let's get our girl back." Lilith's voice goes happy again, "I'll see you tomorrow." Axton hangs up and goes through the plan again in his head.
Liz 3rd person
The door to the room opens and Sarah walks over, "I'm going to capture Axton tomorrow and give you a little show. Be prepared. I'm going to let your weak and pathetic body out of your cage so you get front row seating to see and hear him scream. You'll try to reach out but can't. No trying to escape because I'll kill him and shock you then kill that flea ridden, disease filled skag. Have you thrown back in your cell until you die." Liz growls, "you won't get away with this." Sarah giggles, "oh but I already have. Well I'll see you at our meeting tomorrow." Liz scowls as she walks away and even harder when the door closes. The next day Liz just dreads the meet. The sickness in her stomach grows more and more. Whether it was from only water, just the meet, or both, but either way she didn't feel too good.
Axton 3rd person
Axton walks to the gate and opens it for Lilith and her reinforcements. The gate opens and it reveals, Lilith, the vault hunters, Ellie, Tannis, Gaige, Krieg, Zero, Salvador, Mordecai, Brick, Tiny Tina, and Ava. Axton puzzles, not seeing Maya, "Lilith, where's Maya?" Lilith sighs, "I don't want Liz to know yet, but Maya died and now Ava has her siren powers. I have everyone else though." Axton huffs kind of sad, "Maya was great, but we have more to focus on. Lilith you will take your group as reinforcements for the guards and save Junior. My group will kill the guards where Liz is and when you're done you bring your group and Junior to Liz's cell where Sarah will take me and try to get her to break. When that happens, we'll capture Sarah and break Liz free. Liz will kill Sarah and we'll go from there." Lilith smiles at the idea, "solid plan. Come on group let's go," she finishes leading her group to the giant Dahl building. Axton tells his team to wait in Liz's chambers until Sarah brings him down and to hold off the guards. Axton takes a deep breath and goes into Sarah's office. Axton opens the door, 'here goes nothing.'
Liz 3rd person
Liz still felt sick no matter what. She just couldn't stand the thought of her boyfriend being tortured by his ex and the commander of Dahl. The door opens and suddenly guns start firing and she cowers. She opens her eyes to a soothing voice. She sees a group of Dahl soldiers, and the dead guards. The guy kneels in front of the cell, "Axton has came up with a great plan to rescue you. He'll be here any moment." Liz gives a sly smile, "thanks." A few minutes go by and the door opens and a whole bunch of guards walk in followed by Sarah and Axton. All of the guards stand down along with the soldiers. Sarah frowns, "looks like some people have gone rogue on me just for this pathetic, fire carrying idiot and this grungy, back stabbing, sorry excuse for a man." Sarah clicks her tongue and goes to open Liz's cell and gets the guards to hold her tightly in front of Axton. Axton smirks as Sarah's arms ghosts over his shoulder and the hacking chip, starting to pick up the key. Liz gives him a confused look at his sudden smirk. Sarah draws out a knife and runs it across Axton's arm. She smiles at Liz, "I don't want to, but break and his skin doesn't break." Liz scowls, "I'm never going to break. Go ahead I can live without him." She gives her shoulder a twitch, notifying Axton it's the code to say, it's just an act. The same code they came up with for a situation like this. Axton winks, telling her that he knew. Sarah giggles, "that's kind of harsh. Don't you think?" The guards all nod and the door opens again and Lilith and her group arrive and start to open fire on the guards. After all the guards are dead Sarah quickly puts the knife up to his neck, "one more bullet and his throat is going to be slit." Lilith tells her group to stand down. Sarah huffs a piece of hair out her eye, "I might still do it anyway." As she starts to cut, Liz pushes the guards holding her back and blasts her powers at Axton, making him disappear. Sarah gets taken by shock, "what the hell just happened?" Lilith shoots the last two guards, "you sacrificed you're powers. Th-they're gone." Sarah blankly stares at Liz, "lost."

Note: well at least Axton is safe, but Liz's powers, not so much. So close to killing her. We're almost there.
