The Great Vault

One week later
The vault hunters return and bring Liz and Lilith's father, Typhon. Typhon enters the room and Liz runs up to him and hugs him along with Lilith. He chuckles, "I love y'all too. Now where are those twins. Lilith releases and walks over to the table, "the way I see it. They are wherever the location takes us." Liz shifts to one side, "well that's an answer. Let's get this over with." Lilith sighs, "sadly we are gonna need to put the key together. Ava is the only one with a force field since Liz's powers are cut. Let's go to the spot and watch out for the twins. Five minutes then we leave. Let's get a move on vault hunters." Liz echos Axton and tells him, "hey. Just letting you know that we're about to open the vault and my dad is here to help." Axton sighs, "I'm holding everything here. Be careful. Without your powers it may take some getting used to." Liz giggles, "I'll be fine." Axton chuckles, "make sure. I love you." Liz smiles, "I love you too." Lilith calls them to leave and they head to the spot where the vault will open up. Tannis carries the vault key to its place and Ava goes to work on the force field. Liz and the vault hunters keep watch around the force field. Ava struggles, not knowing how to use and control her new powers. Liz stops and guides her, "just a little longer. The trick is to focus on the power and nothing else." Ava strains, "I'm...trying." Lilith calls out, "it's almost done. Just a little longer." Ava kneels from the strength, "can't go much longer." The twins come up from out of nowhere and come in. A huge blast send the forcefield off and everyone gets blasted around. Typhon stands up to Tyreen and keeps hold of her with his gadget. Tyreen with her new power over throws him and ends him flying into a wall. Tyreen gives an evil laugh, "thanks super fan for bringing me this." Liz watches from afar in shock. She reaches out, "dad." Without her powers she's been a bit weaker and less able to recover from things. Lilith picks Liz up and they go to his side in his final moments. Typhon looks up at them, "just promise me one thing." Liz and Lilith nod. He continues with his final request, "don't let yall be the last vault hunters." He passes and Liz feels the burning in her eyes as Troy came up and challenged a fight. Liz yells at the vault hunters, "this is what y'all have been training for. Make us proud." The vault hunters go out to fight off Troy first. Tyreen gets second on the fight. Lilith kneels by Ava and stays on the line with the vault hunters. Liz lets go of her fathers hand and command her collar to release with a harsh, "collar off." The collar falls to the ground and she runs to the battle field with guns in hand. Lilith yells at her, "Liz what are you doing?" Liz does a quick turn around to reply, "I'm avenging everyone we lost." She finishes her run to the battle field and sets up cover by Amara. Amara silently yells at her, "what are you doing here!?" Liz smirks, "helping. My collar is off so be careful." Amara nods and they light Troy up with ammo. He throws shock balls and flame waves, but is no match for them all. Amara uses her powers and shocks him. Moze gets out her war bot and blasts everything into him. Fl4k sends his pets and Zane uses his body doubles for confusion and weaponry. Troy eventually falls and the vault hunters collect the loot. Liz leads them away because Tyreen was coming. Lilith yells over the echo, "Liz, Axton is going to be so furious." Liz laughs, "he'll be fine. One twin down, another one to go." Amara giggles, "yeah, that's usually how twins work." Liz playfully punches her arm and the ground started to shake and a giant hole opened up. Out crawled Tyreen the destroyer and they immediately started. Liz gasps and says into her echo, "is Ava okay?" Lilith sighs, "yeah she's fine. She's going to have to learn her powers, but we're all good. Now kill Tyreen." Liz nods with a smirk, "will do." Liz goes to work and they all put bullets into her. Tyreen falls, but is not dead yet. Lilith commands over the echo, "climb on her back. Shoot her in the giant eye." Moze wasted no time and climbs quickly and shoots every round into her eye. She bursts up and sends Moze off. Liz yells out to all of them, "send bullets flying! Get her down again and climb! Aim for the eye!" The bullets fly more and more. Tyreen comes down again and Lilith sounds over the echo, "climb again." This time Amara climbs and sends her powers into Tyreen's eye. Tyreen screams and shoots up again. The bullets fly for more hours. Amara yells to Liz, "how many more hits?" Liz shakes her head, "I don't know. Maybe get her down a few more times." Amara nods and the bullets fly faster. Zane calls over, "I'm out of ammo!" Liz throws over a few clips, "here!" Zane loads his guns and blasts again. Tyreen spawns in other enemies. Liz curses, "shit! Shoot the enemies Zane, since you're low. Fl4k you too. Girls, let's get her!" The girls take over Tyreen and the guys kill off the reinforcements one by one, making it easier to take down Tyreen. Tyreen falls once again and Lilith repeats her saying, "she's down! Get her!" Liz goes next, climbing up Tyreen's scaly back to the top. She jumps down and pulls out her biggest gun and fires several rounds into her. Tyreen jumps up once again and sends Liz flying off. She sends more reinforcements which Fl4k and Zane finish off. Tyreen goes down one final time for good. Liz smiles widely as Ava, Tannis, and Lilith come out. Lilith holds onto Liz, "she's gone. Y'all did it." The vault door opens and she points to it, "you've earned it vault hunters." Lilith and Liz high five, but rise into the air while doing so. Flames burst everywhere and they both drop to the ground. Liz grins, "did we..." Lilith hugs her, "we have our powers back. Together." Liz shoots fire out to make sure and it works. Lilith looks at her hands that have orange trailing around them and her tattoos glow again with its bright, sky blue color. The vault hunters return and they go to the edge to look at Pandora. They notice that Elpis is tearing Pandora apart. Ava worries, "how do we stop it?" Tannis nervously paces, "there's one simple solution... we can't. Unless you know a way to remove the moon from the sky." Lilith looks down at her hands, "run towards the fire. Sanctuary's yours Ava. Be ready. Liz you're now the leader of the raiders." Lilith runs up and flies up to Pandora. Tannis yells out, "what does Lilith think she's doing!?" Ava watches Lilith, "closing the great vault." Tannis worries out loud, "that could kill her!" Ava stares in awe, "she knows." Liz saddens, but feels the new power and responsibility of being the new commander for the raiders. She thinks for a moment, 'what about Dahl?'

Note: almost finished with the story. Lilith is gone now and I don't think she's dead. She's not right? I mean she's the face of Borderlands and the only original vault hunters would be Brick and Mordecai. I don't know. Let me know what you think.
