[carmen leigh]"...i feel like i'm about to get hurt."
once they'd all paid for their items, calum and michael forced everyone to wait outside the store. which left me alone with them.
and, not gonna lie, they look like they're about to throw hands.
calum scoffs, folding his arms over his chest. "stop being dramatic."
"i'm not being dramatic, you made ashton turn the fucking security cameras off!"
i know calum, but i have no idea who the other guy is. i recognise him from a few of the photos on luke's facebook, so i'm guessing they're friends...
they're both really tall compared to me. not as tall as luke, obviously. the sight of the two of them in the store is rather comical. the dark colors of their hair and clothes are a stark contrast to the pastel color palette of the store.
ashton would not approve.
"to be fair, mate, that wasn't really necessary..."
"shut the fuck up, michael." calum scowls at his friend, who i now know as michael, "i don't want luke to know about our conversation."
"and of course, he'd be so desperate to know why we made them leave the store, that he'd sneak in to check security footage." michael jeers playfully.
i'm honestly so confused. why the fuck are they doing this, and what do they want from me?
they bicker back and forth, calum trying to prove michael wrong, and michael just trying to annoy calum.
they reming me of ashton and nova. they get into arguments like this all the time... i feel bad for luke. i know his pain.
i let them argue for a little while longer, before cutting into their heated discussion. "so, do you guys need something? or..."
it's only at my intrusion that they seem to remember that i'm here. the pair share a look, before simultaneously taking a step towards me, which intimidates me further.
i am definitely getting beat up.
"we have... a couple of questions." michael starts, "concerning our friend luke, and his son. i'm assuming you know who i'm talking about?"
obviously.
calum slaps him on the arm. "of course she knows who they are, dickwad. we just want to know what your intentions are."
"my intentions?" i question, confused.
what the fuck do they mean? why am i being questioned?
"what are your intentions with luke and louis." michael elaborates.
i'm stumped. i don't really know how to answer them, i haven't really thought about it. i'd assumed it was a one-time thing to start off with, but louis seems to be... attached. luke is rather indifferent, i don't think he likes me that much.
"i'm not sure..." i trail off, trying to think of an appropriate response, "i guess we're friends? kinda?"
"friends? are you sure?" calum pries further.
"louis seems to like you a bit to much for you to be just 'friends' with luke..."
michael's statement implies that me and luke are a... thing. which we're not. definitely not.
i mean, i barely know the guy.
"we're just friends, i don't know if i could even call it that... has luke told you otherwise?"
