The next morning, at 5:00 A.M., Victor woke up, and stretched as his alarm clock went off. After snoozing the alarm clock, Victor got out of bed, and unplugged the charging area from his wife who was in sleep mode.
Once Chloe was online, she yawned, and stretched her arms out far enough until they reached the ceiling. "Why did we have to wake up so early, honey?" Chloe asked. "Our flight leaves in three hours, so we'll have to get up, and leave early for it," Victor answered. "Well we should probably wake Clayton up, and have him get ready before we say goodbye to him," Chloe said. "We'll do that, after we get ready for the trip to New York City," Victor explained.
Victor, and Chloe got ready for the trip, as they both cleaned themselves, and got dressed. Victor placed on a black tuxedo with a blue spandex belt, and blue bow tie, while Chloe wore a blue knee length sleeveless dress, along with matching shoes. Chloe also placed on a white overcoat, along with a sapphire jeweled broach, and earrings.
"So, how do I look?" Chloe asked. "You could never look more beautiful, than you do now," Victor answered. Chloe blushed and smiled before they both kissed. After kissing, the two entered Clay's room, and opened his capsule from the outside. "Clayton, it's time to wake up," Victor said. Clay opened his eyes halfway, and then rubbed them. "It's 6:00 A.M.," Clay said. "Why did you want to wake me up this early?" "We just wanted to say goodbye to you, before we head to the airport," Chloe explained.
"Yes, your aunt will be here later this before-noon," Victor said. "Try and be good for her while we're gone." "If she pays attention to me, I will," Clay said. "She can't keep her eyes off of a book just once during the times she visited us." "Yes, I know she hasn't been focusing on us during her last couple of visits, but I'm sure she can pay attention to one of us this this time, sweetie," Chloe explained. "She can't keep her eyes on one thing all the time." "Well, I need to get dressed anyway," Clay said. "No you don't," Victor explained. "You're not coming with us." "I'm too western for New York, I know," Clay said. "I'm getting dressed, because I'll be late for school if I don't." "It's spring break this week, Clayton," Chloe explained. "You don't have school."
"Ah, son of a bitch, I forgot," Clay said. "Well, we'll just let you go back to sleep then," Victor said. "I'll lend Alexis my police truck after I pick her up from the airport. That, and your grandfather will watch over her, in case she needs to talk with someone." "Before we go," Chloe said, and wrapped her arms around her son, hugging him. "Promise me, you'll behave for your aunt while we're away." "I promise, Ma," Clay said, and laid back in his capsule after he finished hugging his mother. Victor closed the capsule once Clay went back to sleep, then both him, and Chloe left the mansion after getting in the police truck.
