Chapter 36: Continuing Beach Date.

After freeing the construction workers at the site, Clay, and Penny returned to Laguna Beach to finish their day at the beach. So they got everything back out of the trunk of Clay's car, and returned to their spot.

Clay, and Penny then placed the beach towels back on the sand, recovered themselves in sun block, and then relaxed as the sun was still shining. "I'm glad we decided to come back here," Penny said. "The sun is shining, the water is kissing the sand. Hey, want to go in the water, and play a bit." "I don't know, I just painted my arms this morning," Clay said. "People might see them if I place them in the water along with my own skin. They secret will be out afterwards."

"I'm sure it will be fine, Clay," Penny explained. "We'll just have the water go up to our waists, while we splash around." "Good, oh I almost forgot," Clay said. "I brought a beach ball for us to play with, while we're in the water." "Okay, I haven't played with one when I was little, mostly because I've never been to the beach as a kid," Penny said.

"Well today you get to have fun with one," Clay explained. "Just let me get it out, and inflate it first." Clay pulled out the deflated beach ball, and blew it up, until it was big enough to hold, and throw around. Once the beach ball was at it's correct shape, Clay closed the air blowing hole to it, so it would stay inflated. "Alright let's have a ball with this beach ball," Clay said. "I can't wait," Penny agreed. "I hope it's fun as they say it is." "Trust me, darling," Clay said. "Beach balls are very fun to play with."

Clay, and Penny spent the entire time throwing the beach ball at each other, until they lost the energy in their hands, and got tired. "So, what do you want to do next?" Penny asked. "Well, our day is almost over," Clay answered. "How about we return to the restroom stalls, and have sex in the shower." "Nothing would make me happier," Penny said, and they both leaned in for a kiss. However, an explosion noise interrupted that from the other side of the beach. That, and the phone went off again, meeting Nemesis was attacking. "Goddammit, does Nemesis have anything better to do, then to ruin other peoples days?" Clay asked. "We better head downtown, and stop that guy." "Agreed, looks like we'll have to miss the rest our beach day as well," Penny said.

Clay, and Penny repeated what they did the second time they left by putting the beach supplies up, and returning to the restrooms to change into their Demolition Racer's uniforms. Once they were all suited up, Clay, and Penny returned to their vehicles and drove towards the middle of the city. "What could be happening this time?" Penny asked. "I don't know," Clay answered. "We secured all of the construction sites. Maybe Nemesis completely built his top project. Damn, he's one fast son of a bitch." "Well in any case, we better hurry and see what weapon he's got," Penny said. "One step behind ya, beautiful," Clay explained.
