Chapter 38: Machines Attack.

Everyone in the mansion stood, and watched, as Clay, and Penny circled Nemesis inside Constructageddon. "Alright, Nemesis," Clay said. "Enjoy getting your toy wrecked by my wrecking ball."

Clay inserted the green weapon key into his second ignition, and then used the wrecking ball to knock down the robot, but it failed as it bounced back, and hit another car. "Ha, foolish racer," Nemesis explained. "Your weapons are useless against a weapon such as this. Once I'm done turning you into a corpse in a car, the rest of this planet will share your demise." "If there are any signs of hope that the Demolition Racers will save us, I hope it's soon," the reporter explained.

"That thing is going to kill Clayton," Chloe said. "Not if I have anything to say about it," Victor explained. "I'll be in the lab. I know just the thing to help him out." Victor went over to the bookshelf entrance to the elevator, and turned a book sideways to get the bookshelf to move. Alexis noticed the bookshelf, and was shocked.

After Victor pushed the down button next to the elevator, it opened. "Follow me, everyone," Victor explained. "There's something I need to show my sister." As Victor got into the elevator, everyone else got in, and the elevator doors closed. Victor brought everyone down to the lab, and they got off the elevator. "You have your own underground, Laboratory?" Alexis asked. "I've been meaning to tell you, but you didn't answer my texts," Victor answered. "I just thought you were exaggerating," Alexis said.

"Alright, we don't have time to go down memory lane," Victor explained. "Right now, my stepson needs help saving Vegas from a monstrosity to mankind. Before I left with my wife to Manhattan, I've been working on a special gift for Clayton in case he would take down Nemesis's top project, but I see that he needs it now more than he could." Victor went over to a table where he lifted opened a box, and pulled out a white weapon key that had a red line going down it, and a place circle that was filled in half way. "What kind of key is that, Mr. Samuel's?" Ricky asked. "I call it the half octane key," Victor answered. "This key will increase Clayton's bionic levels by 110%, and give him extra bionic powers which will make him stronger than even Nemesis."

Victor placed the half octane key in his pocket, then brought his police truck into the lab with his pager. Ricky did the same by bringing his mechanic's truck, and then they both changed into their Demolition Racers uniform. "Wait, you guy's are the Demolition Racers?" Alexis asked. "Well you saw two of us are," Victor answered. "We'll explain who the other two are after we get back. Richard, let's get going." "Ricky, I'm not good with Richard," Ricky said. As both Victor, and Ricky got in their vehicles, they left the lab, and made their way towards downtown Las Vegas to assist Clay in taking down Constructageddon.
