Nine hours later, Clay woke up to the ceiling, and found himself back in his capsule bed, in his bedroom. After getting out of the capsule, Clay looked at his clock, and saw it was 8:00 A.M. in the morning.
"What happened last night?" Clay asked, and got out of his capsule feeling half awake. Clay's grandfather, Walter came into the bedroom. "There you are, wing boy," Walter said. "You had a lot of fun last night didn't you?" "How did I get from Hooters, to back here so fast?" Clay asked. "Oh well, you were too focused on your menu, that Alexis sneaked beer in your cup of Pepsi," Walter answered. "And you didn't stop her?" Clay asked. "Terrible parenting 101."
"Hey, she wanted you to grow up, so that was the only way to get you gobbling down those wings," Walter answered. "Where is she?" Clay asked. "I'll be making a phone call to Vic, and Ma, and making sure she won't come over anymore." "She's gone to the bank, to begin a checking account," Walter answered. "I think she wants to live here."
Suddenly Clay's phone rang, allowing him to answer it. "Hello," Clay said. "Hi Clay, I hope your excited about our beach date," Penny said. "My parents made me save up a ton on my allowance to buy me the hottest bathing suit Target had to offer, and I'll be changing after a quick shower." "Just wait for me buy the front steps, I need to find my bathing suit as well, and no I'm not wearing a dude thong. Love you." Clay hung up, and got out of his capsule, then went to the closet to change.
"Now where did I put those swim shorts?" Clay asked pulling out all the clothing in his closet. Finally Clay got a pair of white, and red swim shorts, a red, and black tank top, and a pair of black sandals. "Finally got something for my beach date," Clay thought. "Judging by how hot it was yesterday, I'm guessing the temperature would be higher today, but it's worth it to spent time with a lady on the beach." As Clay was talking in his head, he grabbed the clothing he pulled out of the closet, and placed it on his body. "Now I just need some supplies for the beach picnic," Clay thought. (Let's hope the beach picnic will be better than the one David, and Lexy had in Historical Mysteries 2: Rumors Of Rome.) "Then I'll pick Penn up for our date."
After getting his swimsuit on, Clay went to the kitchen and gathered food for a picnic. Clay grabbed a picnic basket, deflated beach ball, a picnic blanket, sun block, burger buns, raw hamburger meat, a mobile stove (the only stove that doesn't plug in.) condiments, and a surfboard. Though knowing that people will see his metallic arms, Clay painted them to match his skin color. "Alright, Grandpa," Clay said. "I'm leaving for the beach." "Be sure to be back after sunset," Walter explained. Clay then grabbed his sunglasses, got in his car, and then drove out of the parking lot, and away from his mansion.
