Everyone was waiting for Annie to get out of surgery.
"How could you let her be a hero?! She's not even a teenager yet!" May demanded answers and Peter looked to her in heartbreak.
"May she was innocent. She hadn't even started being a hero. Norman took her just because she was my daughter. He took her because he could." Peter explained.
"How did you not see him take her? Your spider sense has always warned you quick enough to protect everyone in this room." May asked and Peter looked at the ground.
"She was three feet away and I didn't listen to my spider sense because I was arguing with Tony. The only person who saw it was Aaron and he tried to warn us and when we didn't listen he got his iron suit on and tried to save her even though he didn't know how to use his suit yet." Peter explained.
"He nearly had to get his leg taken off. He's going to be in recovery for months." Tony added. "And by the looks of it, I would say that Annie will be in recovery even longer." There was a long moment of silence as everyone thought about the reality that they were faced with.
"That bastard went after Annie for no reason." Quill joined into the conversation.
"So I am supposed to believe that she got that good at fighting without any practice at all?" May asked in frustration and Peter got slightly offended.
"Last time I checked she HAD no training. When I saw her fight Electro today it scared me half to death. Not to mention that I didn't even realize that it was her because she was so good a fighting. But..." Peter started and then he looked to Tony suspiciously. "It's odd that she equipped her suit to perfection. I just told her about Electro yesterday. Her suit was already done. You also should have been more impressed. There is no way that she made that suit on her own." Tony started to look a little worried. "You didn't train her and help her with her suit did you? I mean she did have mini blasters." Peter asked and Tony gave in.
"I didn't help her with her suit. I just gave her access to my scrap inventory. I also gave her access to my file system so she could see how your suit was made. However that file system is directly linked to my data system. She would have had access to every Avengers suit documented and every fight program that Rogers has created. That's probably where she learned to fight." Tony explained. "I know she accessed more than she was supposed to. You know how she is about making you proud."
Peter looked to him in frustration.
"You didn't think to ASK me?" Peter asked.
"I DID ask you and you told me to give her what she needed. Remember?" Tony asked and Peter thought for a minute.
"Oh yeah." Peter sighed. The doctor suddenly came into the room.
"She's going to be ok. But there is something you guys should know." The doctor said and everyone turned to him. "All of her powers are three times as strong as yours are Peter. That's why she showed so many symptoms at such a young age." After the doctor explained this he looked a little saddened. "However, her healing is as good as yours is. Which means she will be in the hospital healing for a couple of weeks. It also means that her pain receptors are too strong. She will be in more pain than any person in the world who has the same injuries. Almost all of her muscles were pulled severely. She was lucky she didn't tear the muscle. She's going to be in bed for a while. We put her next to Aaron. If you have any questions let me know." The doctor explained and then he left the room....
Everyone went into Annie and Aaron's room. Some of them sat down and others decided to stand. May, MJ, Peter, and Quill sat beside Annie. Tony, Pepper, Steve, and Bruce sat next to Aaron and the rest stood. Annie slowly looked to Peter.
