Annie was practicing her new powers. She now had powers like her father. The Infinity Stone abilities were running through her blood stream and she had finally figured the powers out. She could feel that her body wasn't really accepting them though. She knew that eventually she would lose control of them because they were too strong but Norman ordered her to use them anyways and she couldn't fight it. Magneto walked over to her.
"Yes, my child you are doing quite well." Magneto said with a laugh and then he got down by her ear. "We have a mission for you."
"Yes Magneto." Annie replied.
"Destroy Aaron Stark." Magneto said and Annie wanted to fight it with every bone in her body but deep in her mind she couldn't. She wanted to yell no. She wanted to kill Magneto for making her do this. It was worse than anything she could have imagined and she was terrified that she would be successful. Maybe she would get lucky and one of the Avengers would stop her from doing anything. Then Magneto spoke again. "And take out anyone who gets in your way." Annie wanted to cry, she wanted to destroy all of the ones who were doing this to her. She was full of anger and frustration, but the worst part was that she was devastated and she couldn't do anything about it.
"Yes Magneto." Annie said this even though she didn't want to. It was tearing her apart, but no matter how hard she fought, it didn't matter.
"Off you go now." Magneto finished his instructions and Annie felt her body running off even though her heart told her to stay there. It was terrible.......
Annie was climbing up Aaron's window and she saw that he was lying in bed, asleep. She felt her hand pull the window open as she was having a mental breakdown on the inside but no emotion showed on the outside. She knew he was a heavy sleeper and wouldn't wake up and this made her heart love him but it also broke her heart because she realized that she knew everyone's weaknesses and she knew that Osborn would use that against them. She climbed into the room silently and slowly closed the window and then she pulled out a knife and raised it in the air. Every thought of hers was fighting against it but she was unsuccessful. She screamed in her head as the knife plunged into his chest. Aaron woke up to see Annie, sitting emotionlessly on him, holding the knife that was slowly killing him. Annie jumped off him as he shouted in pain and she opened the window to see Tony running in. Her eyes met his as he looked at her and then he looked at Aaron and his eyes instantly filled with tears as he looked back at Annie.
"Annie fight it." Tony cried and Annie was about to jump out when Tony couldn't help it. "ANNIE GOD DAMNIT! FIGHT IT!!!" Tony shouted and Annie shot a web and was gone too quickly for Tony to stop her. Tony quickly got doctors to come in and take care of Aaron as he felt his heart break even more.....
Everyone was sitting silently in the waiting room in Avengers Headquarters. They were having yet another meeting.
"So the second we know where they are, we're taking those ass turds down?" Wade asked and Tony nodded. Suddenly a doctor walked over to Tony.
"Aaron will be ok. The knife pierced right outside of his heart. It's almost like she was aiming for it but at the last second she changed her mind." The doctor explained and then Tony nodded.
"Thank you." Tony sighed and then the doctor left. After a few moments of silence Steve stood up.
"If we're going to win this war, we have to stick together. We also need to try to get Annie and Miles back on our side. Ned's a winter soldier, so you can fight him, but don't kill him. The only person who could have brought Ned back was Peter. So we will have to wait to try to get Ned back with us. But Miles chose this and if Annie just missed the heart, then that means that she was fighting it." Steve said this and everyone seemed to agree.
