Chapter 8: Responsibility

The Avengers, Deadpool, the Guardians, Captain Marvel, and T'Challa had been searching Avengers Headquarters to figure out where Pepper, May, and MJ were. They were shocked to find them waiting outside of the operating room.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS PETER?!" Wade cried and MJ looked to them and her face was drenched in tears.......

Peter was in his room from his parents house. He hadn't been there since he was 4, so why was he there now? He was sitting on his bed. Suddenly the door opened and Peter expected his parents to walk in. He thought this was heaven. But someone else walked in.

"So this is what you want your death to look like? It's kind of a mess and a little childish. It's also got a real origin story feeling to it." It was Tony.

"I'm dead aren't I?" Peter asked.

"For now. But they are going to bring you back to life here in a few minutes. But before they do that, I have some advice for you." Tony explained.

"I heard you. Ill take care of Aaron no matter what." Peter replied and Tony nodded.

"I know. I have different advice for you. Your daughter is incredibly powerful. She needs someone to guide her and the Infinity stone abilities are sucking her energy out of her body. You have to get them out of her. They are acting like a simbiote because the powers are used to being in you, not her."Tony said this and Peter looked at the ground.

"She killed you and you're trying to help her?"Peter pointed out.

"She wasn't in control of herself." Tony added.

"That didn't stop you from trying to kill Bucky." Peter sighed and Tony let out a laugh.

"I didn't love Bucky." Tony replied.

"You tried to kill Steve too and some might argue that you and Steve have a special relationship." Peter hinted and Tony hit him on the head. Peter let out a laugh.

"I consider Steve to be like my brother. You nearly killed Harry Osborn when he betrayed YOU. I'm sure you can understand my point of view. Annie is like a daughter to me. She stabbed Aaron and I still tried to save her first. That girl means the world to me." Tony explained and Peter felt his eyes well up with tears.

"I don't want to leave you Mr.Stark ." Peter cried and Tony hugged him.

"I'll always be around keeping an eye on you and that's a god damn promise." Tony sighed. "I love you Peter. Goodbye." Tony said and Peter spoke through his emotions.

"Bye Dad." Peter cried and Tony looked back to him as he tried to hold back tears and then everything faded to white. Peter blinked his eyes and saw everyone in the room except for Annie and Pepper.

"Where's Annie?" Peter asked and everyone looked up and seemed very relieved.

"Peppers with Aaron." Nat said.

"And Annie?" Peter added and everyone got quiet.

"She hasn't spoken or eaten since we got back. She's in the basement working on a new suit." Bucky explained.

"Steve's dead, Tony's dead, and Aaron's in the hospital. I understand how she feels." Peter replied and then he got out of his bed and pulled himself into a wheelchair. He started wheeling out when he realized that MJ was silent. He turned to her.

"Are you ok?" Peter asked and MJ frowned at him.

"Our daughters 13 and she killed 6 people today. So no, I'm not ok." MJ said and then she stormed out. Peter then wheeled after her.
