Tony and Pepper were waiting outside Avengers Headquarters operating area when Peter stormed in while Steve and Quill were trying to get him to calm down.

"HE KNEW!!! He put his suit on for a reason! He knew and instead of saying anything he wanted his moment to be a hero and so he went after her without knowing how to use his suit! I hope he survives because when he does I'm gonna kill him!" Peter yelled.

"Pete he's a kid! He probably saw the smoke bomb and got scared! I love Aaron but the kid lacks a lot of common sense. He didn't think it through. Peter he tried to save her! He tried to save Annie and he might die because of it! He knows that he has no training and yet he risked it for HER!!! And your angry about it? Last time I checked, none of us were paying attention. Even when Aaron tugged on my shoulder, I didn't pay attention. He tried to warn me but I didn't listen. If it's anyone's fault it's mine." Tony explained and Peter was starting to get angry and then he felt some shame fill him.

"My spider sense tried to warn me and I didn't listen. The last time that happened my Uncle Ben died." Peter said as his voice shook and he looked at the ground. There was a moment of silence between the two and Peter looked to Tony. "Any word on Aaron?" Tony shook his head.

"Anyone going after Annie?" Tony asked.

"Miles is. I'm still too weak to go. I'm also slower nowadays."Peter replied.

"You trained him well. He'll get her Pete." Tony sighed and he put his hand on Peters shoulder and Peter got tears in his eyes.

"He took her Mr.Stark."Peter cried and he hadn't called Tony that in over a decade and Tony hugged Peter as Peter started to cry in his arms and Tony was trying hard to be strong. After all, Tony was the closest thing to a father that Peter had. Soon they parted and Peter was still a mess.

"I don't even know what to say to May. She adores Annie." Peter cried.

"Well let's wait to see if Miles finds her first. No need to stress out May. It's not really a problem yet." Tony sighed and Peter nodded as he sat down.

"I honestly thought Peter was going to destroy you like he destroyed Carnage." Quill sighed with relief and Peter frowned at him and so did Tony.

"You didn't even see Carnage die." Steve pointed out.

"I didn't have to."Quill replied as he crossed his arms and stood like Steve and Steve frowned.

"What? Is that an impression of me?" Steve asked and Quill looked off dramatically in the distance.

"I don't know what your talking about." Quill said in a valiant voice.

"Oh jeez." Steve sighed. "Tony Quill's hiding his emotions with humor again!" Steve said with a smirk and Quill got tears in his eyes.

"I don't know what your talking about!" Quill cried and then he stomped out of the room.

"Do you have to do that every time?" Peter asked as he was clearly still struggling.

"He can't handle being this patriotic." Steve replied and Peter shook his head.

"Always playing favorites." Steve sighed and Peter let out a laugh.

"Well considering I rarely get to see him, yeah I am." Peter joked. ....

Annie slowly woke up and felt wind blowing through her hair. She felt a heavy arm around her and she looked around and saw that she was flying and a guy matching the description of the Green Goblin was holding her. Annie immediately took action. She kicked Green Goblin in the back of the head and he let go of her and she kicked off of the glider and got yanked back. She hung off of the glider and saw that she was hanging on a chain above the city. She felt the Green Goblin pulling the chain up and she aimed her hand upward toward the chain and she pressed a button on her wrist and a small blaster started to fire up. She pointed it at the chain and moved her hand in a charging movement and she shot at the chain and it broke. Annie turned herself into a diving position and she saw a crane decently close by and she shook her head.
