~Sage’s POV~
“No way!”
“Yeah way!”
“I don’t believe you.”
“You don’t have to.”
Harry’s grin was wide and disbelieving, “You do not hate Chipotle.”
“I can’t stand it.” I confessed.
He buried his head in his hands momentarily, his body shaking with laughter.
“Don’t do this to me.” Harry pleaded.
I laughed, “Do what?”
“Force me to strip your title of ‘the perfect girl’. Don't make me do it.” He explained with his head still in his hands.
I raised my eyebrows, “I’m your idea of a ‘perfect girl’?”
“Not if you don't like Chipotle!” Harry exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air in exasperation.
Laughing, I threw a chunk of melon at him and it hit his nose.
He retaliated by tossing a strawberry at me.
We went back and forth, throwing fruit at each other, until the manager of the café asked us politely to leave.
We obliged. Harry paid the bill and we left.
I huffed, “I can’t believe you got us kicked out of my favorite café.”“I got us kicked out? No, no. You got us kicked out.” Harry said, casually looping his arm around my shoulder.
Leaning into him, I reveled in his warmth.
I shook my head, “Nope. It was definitely you.”
Harry put his free hand to his heart, feigning offense.
“If I recall correctly, you threw fruit first.”
“You provoked me!” I countered, poking his chest.
"I don't see how that matters. You should be old and mature enough to ignore those provocations." He teased.
I looked up at him with a grin on my face, "So you're admitting it's your fault?"
A slow smile spread across his face and he shook his head.
"I can't believe you just did that?"
"Oh," I laughed, "What did I do now?"
"You just turned my words against me." He elaborated, tightening his arms around my shoulders.
"Well you're a businessman now; you should get used to it." I told him.
Like a phone that was out of battery, he completely shut down.
Harry's arm slipped from my shoulder and he stopped walking, making the both of us come to a complete stand still in the middle of the sidewalk.
