"C'mon Alice!" Mckenzie yelled. She stood impatiently in the doorway of our hotel room.
I huffed in frustration. "I'm just making sure we have everything!" I was busy double checking the room for any belongings we may have missed packing.
"You're so OCD!" Mckenzie laughed. She zipped my bag and dragged me out of the room.
I still felt like we were forgetting something but I locked the room anyway. I always felt like this after a trip though.
"The boys will be already waiting for us." Mckenzie muttered while stabbing an elevator button. "You took forever you know."
"Yeah yeah." I mumbled while reading a poster on the wall.
The elevator door dinged and we entered the cramped room with little breathing space. "Move your suitcase over!" Mckenzie demanded.
I shrugged, "It's already against the wall!"
With a jolt the elevator rumbled down to the ground floor. I rested my face against the steel wall, even though it was incredibly unsanitary.
"So fucking tired." I grumbled. Mckenzie laughed and nodded. It was only the fifth day of the tour and I was already drained.
When the doors to the elevator opened we walked out and a family of four crammed in.
The lobby was always so alive. People hurried about or sat in the small sitting areas. We searched through the huge space until a blond boy ran to us.
"Hey Niall." I said sleepily.
"Hi girls. Do you need any help with you bags?" Niall asked while pointing towards our luggage that dragged against the marble tile.
I nodded, "Yes please." He took my larger bag. We walked side by side while attempting to find the rest of our group. "Where is everyone Niall?" I asked.
Niall shrugged, "I dunno." He quickly looked around the room. His hand nervously grabbed the back of his neck and he bit his lip.
My shoulders fell. I took a moment to close my eyes and take a deep breath. I was not in the mood for any problems.
Without saying anything I walked away from Mckenzie and Niall to call Ashton. The phone rang several times before it shifted to voice mail.
I groaned and threw my bag onto the ground in frustration. Then, I called Harry. Again it went to voicemail. "What the hell?" I whispered to my phone.
Luke finally picked up. "Hey where are you guys?" Was his first words.
"Was about to ask you the same question." I laughed dryly.
I could hear the frustration in Luke's voice. "Well, we're at the airport."
"THE AIRPORT!" I screamed.
"Yeah."
I glanced at a clock on the wall. It read 12:32. "What time does the flight leave? I thought we had plenty of time!"
"It leaves in half an hour Alice. You need to get here." Luke's voice lowered to a whisper.
"Why didn't you call or come get us?" I was beginning to think they didn't want us anymore.
"We tried but one of the fucking managers forced us onto the bus. They took everyone's phones away. God only knows why." Luke explained quickly.
"How do you still have yours then?" I asked.
He laughed, "I told them I accidentally dropped it into the pool so I threw it away."
