Chandler Riggs X Reader "Visiting"

Setting: on the set of TWD in Georgia

Plot: your dad's (Norman Reedus) co star Chandler a.k.a son of Rick on TWD is your brother Mingus's age and y'all two go with your dad to the set of the show for a couple of days. You meet Chandler and start to talk with him.

Today was the day where your dad was going to take you and Mingus with him to the set of The Walking Dead. You were ready for it and couldn't wait to be behind the scenes of an awesome TV show. The only weird thing was that when you watched it on TV with your brother and your mom, it was always weird to see your dad in it. This time when he visited he promised to take you with him. You were 16 and Mingus is 17 so if anything y'all were used to it by now. The only thing you weren't used to was his new wife, Diane. Y'all never really got along to well and often fought a lot. Mostly because you just didn't trust her and just a new girl, it was hard. Mingus was always the closest to you. The doorbell rang and your mom opened it. It was yours and Mingus's dad. Norman comes in and closes the door, "where are the kids?" Helena smiled, "Mingus is doing a last minute photo shoot and (y/n) is right upstairs, napping." He walks up the stairs and goes into your room, quietly. He goes over to the bed and places a kiss on your head, "I love you sweetie." You slowly wake up and at sudden movement you punch him in the chest. You immediately realize and start to laugh. He holds his chest, "all I did was kiss your head and say I love you." You die of laughter on your bed, "I'm so sorry. I love you too dad." He hugs you, "it's okay sweetie," he lets go and sits on the bed, "let's wait for your brother and we can get a move on. Are you packed?" You get up and grab your (f/c) duffel bag that was packed the day before, "yep I'm all ready." He smiles, "great." When your brother returns y'all say goodbye to your mom and head out. Norman drives to the airport to fly out to Georgia. Norman sat in the middle, Mingus got the window seat, and you got the outer seat. After the plane ride to Georgia y'all get off and go on set for filming. You notice a boy that looks to be your brother's age and really cute. He played as the son of the main character, Rick. You've seen him in TV and to where he got his eye shot out. He was in his costume and his makeup was done. It almost made you want to vomit at how good it was done, but you didn't and walked up to him after your dad left to shoot a scene. He smiles at you and Mingus, "hey guys... Fans?" Mingus chuckles, "yes and no." You finish with a smile, "we're fans, but our dad is Norman." He grins, "oh yeah. (Y/N) and Mingus. He talks about y'all. He said he was gonna bring you on set one day. I guess today is the day." You and Mingus nod and the boy continues, "your dad's cool. Known him for a while. My name is Chandler Riggs. I play as Carl. Nice to meet you two." He shakes Mingus's hand and takes your hand and kisses it and gives you a long glare. You try to keep the tiny blush in and then Greg calls for him to go film. Mingus gives you a look and you smile. He gives a smirk and y'all walk to the filming area and watch. After the filming the cast members along with you and Mingus go out to eat. Chandler sits next to you and slips a note to you with a smile. You smile back with a little confusion and open it. 'I don't know you all that well. Besides when Norman tells me about you and Mingus. I hope you can visit again. Sincerely, Chandler Riggs a.k.a Carl Grimes.' You give him a light smile and whisper to him, "I'll be with him for a couple of days. We can meet at the hotel and chat." He nods and y'all finish up. Norman takes you and Mingus out to see Georgia and the old filming sites. He takes y'all to the site where he fell down the cliff while looking for Sophia. You look up and down the cliff, "this is beautiful. When you weren't falling down it twice with an arrow hanging out of your side." Norman laughs, "it is." He puts his arms around you and your brother, "I love you two so much." You and Mingus both smile, "we love you too." He pulls y'all in and gives both of y'all a kiss, "who's ready to see the overpass where it all started?" You and Mingus give each other a look and race each other to the the car, leaving Norman behind. He finally catches up and chuckles after seeing y'all standing and waiting for the car to be unlocked, "y'all have to wait for me," he dangled the keys, "I have the power." He unlocks it and drives y'all to the over pass and pulls over. The sun was setting over the city and it made for a beautiful sight. Y'all watch the sun set and take pictures on your phones. Y'all head back to the hotel and get your room. Norman gets y'all into the room, "one bed goes to me and Mingus and (Y/N) will have her own bed because it's the way to treat a lady." Mingus scowls at you playfully and you stick your tongue out. Norman chuckles, "anyways we'll all meet downstairs with the rest of the cast to talk about tomorrow's filming." Y'all nod and set your bags down then go down to the lobby. You instantly spot Chandler and go over with him and he smiles, "hey. What's up?" You smile back, "not much. Just doing what I said I was going to, Carl." Chandler chuckles, "you can call me that or Chandler it doesn't matter. How about after this we can talk for a bit?" You nod with a grin, "sure. I normally stay up real late."
