Hansome Jack X Reader "Relic" pt.2

Setting: Pandora

Plot: You lost everyone on Pandora and we'll you're doing pretty good on your own. Your sister doesn't really talk to you no more and wants you dead, but other than that you get even better when you're helped by a handsome leader of a whole company.

You scoff, "then why should I tell you?" Jack smirks, "because don't you want to be on the side that turns Pandora into a paradise." You shrug, "well yeah, but what will happen with the relic after you get the warrior." He chuckles, "the warrior will be on my side and it can take out those bandits and then I can transform this place into my paradise. I can also get revenge on the people who've wronged me." You puzzle, "like who?" He sighs and straightens up, "like one of my exes, a siren, and old plus new vault hunters." You look at him with more curiosity, "what did they do to you?" He bends back down to meet your eyes, "all I need is that relic pumpkin. Details later." You look over to the door, "I have it hidden somewhere. About an hour away. Old bandit camp. Hidden in a safe. Locked with a passcode that you need my voice for." He nods and grabs for the ropes, "lead the way." He takes the photo of your family and puts it safely in his jacket pocket and puts you in front of him, keeping close watch on you. After a bit of walking Jack speaks up, "so what's your name pumpkin?" You huff with a laugh, "why should I tell you that when I know you're gonna keep calling me pumpkin?" Jack shrugs, "because it'll be nice to at least know your name if I'm going to be seeing you for a while. It's a long ride back to Helios and a while you'll stay there." You raise your voice, "who says I'm staying?" He chuckles, "I do. What's your name pumpkin?" You sigh, "my name is (Y/N). Why can't you let me out of these ropes and I can lead you better all the while helping in fights?" He exhales, "sorry (y/n), but I'm afraid you'll end up turning on me pumpkin. No matter what you say I won't take you out of those until I get my relic and get you back to Helios." You stop and turn to him, "what if I don't say, but show you I won't turn." He gives a confused look, "what do you mean pumpkin?" You start walking again and veer off to a full bandit village. He sees and stops you, "why are you taking me here? They'll kill us." You smirk, "I'm showing you I'm on your side." He follows still trying to stop you, but doesn't. He goes in and the bandits start attacking him. When he gets down to the last few and they start ganging on him you take one off using your hands that are bound and push him against one of the buildings and choke him. The other one you take a price of broken glass and stab him with it. Jack kills the other and he looks at you, "that doesn't prove anything. Just that you're bad ass." You roll your eyes and takes the broken glass and hide it. That night Jack stops and breaks for the night. He finds an old mining cave and heads in, looking around for bandits. He calls you in once he knows it's clear. He sits you down and goes in his bag to pull out some food. He hands you some, "eat up pumpkin. We don't want you passing out." You take it and eat. He stands at the cave entrance and leans on the wall, "I'm keeping watch. Rest up." When he has his back away from you, you take out the glass and start sawing the rope that's tied around your hands. Once you're free you reclaim your weapons and meet him at the entrance and sit down beside him. He chuckles, not turning to you, "I know you had that glass all along. I was seeing how long it would take you to get out. You can leave. I'll find the relic on my own." You sigh, "not going to lie to you Jack, but I thought about it. I want to show you that I'm not going to screw you over. I want you to make Pandora better and get revenge on those who've wronged you. I just wanted to get out of the rope and be free at least." Jack smiles at you, "y'know what that's really cool. I even tricked you, kept you as prisoner, and took you away from your place and you still want to help me. Why is that pumpkin?" You smile back, "I feel for you. I know what it's like to have shit taken from you by people and want the worst revenge on them. I also see that you're a good guy deep within. You also didn't take me from much and I do want to see this place become paradise. Somewhere better and less survival of the fittest." He looks back out into the night sky, "my story started on Elpis. Piece of shit moon. Anyways I took down Zarpadon with my vault hunters and along the way I got betrayed by old vault hunters along with my ex girlfriend. It didn't stop me from opening the vault. I unlocked the secrets of the world. I was going to use it for better. Then the siren punched the vault into my face and messed it up. Then I took over Helios after saving the moon and Helios. They called me a power freak and I really just wanted to be a hero. Be something for Angel. I want revenge on those old vault hunters and that ex of mine. I have new vault hunters I want dead as well." You put an arm around him, "I know about that Zarpadon battle. The hero won. Along with the vault hunters. I've been wondering what really happened. I can see that you are the hero and want better. They don't see it." He remains silent and y'all continue looking out into the setting of Pandora. He then speaks, "you should get some sleep." You shake your head and continue to stay there with him. A little later you walk back into the small little camp y'all set up and went to sleep.

Note: I will probably do one more chapter or two more I don't know yet. I like this story though. It's coming along pretty good. I was planning for Helios in this one, but had other ideas.
