They left the house and walked down the street as they thought about what they could do with their hard-worked money. At that moment both stomaches grumbled.

"Hey Yukine, what about we eat some dinner? And besides, I will treat you this time."

"Well, it isn't like that it's also my money what your are talking about and you have to take care of me but whatever." Yukine muttered.

"You know what? We should call Hiyori if she would join us." Yukine nodded and Yato called her in 30 minutes to the late night Diner's.

As they arrived Yato couldn't stand still. He walked up and down in front of the Diner's because he was too excited meet her again. And then she came towards them along the street, with a wide smile on her face.

Yato couldn't help and shouted her name as loud as he could. "Hiyoooooriiiii!"

"Hey Yato, Yukine! Thank you for inviting me to get some dinner with you." Hiyori wore her casual outfit with two high pigtails.

"What happened to your scarf Yato?" Hiyori asked in confusion.

"When you really want to hear about it, I will tell you. We were on a secret mission and there were thousands of enemies to fight. It was not a big deal for me but the last one I had to choose; my scarf or my death."

'What a freak.' Yukine rolled his eyes at Yato and looked away.

"Wow your day sounds amazing." Hiyori giggled and moved meanwhile closer to Yato. His eyes widened as she stand inches away from him and took his scarf off him.

"I will fix it for you, don't worry." Yato still stared in her eyes. Hiyori noticed his gaze and a slightly pink color spread across her face.

"Hey come on! I am starving." Yukine said with a grumpy face.

Finally they went into the Diner's but were shocked how overcrowded it was. But luckily they got a table and ordered the menu. After a while the waiter brought the food and it looked delicious. Yukine and Yato gave a quick but intense look to each other and began to swallow their food.

"So, how is your food?" Hiyori lifted her head and looked up to them. But they didn't really heard what she said because of this incredible food. Hiyori wasn't mad about it. She was glad she saw them two so happy because the last couple of weeks they seemed quite down.

After they finished their meal, they sat there for a while until Hiyori saw how late it got.

"Oh, I would like to stay a little longer but I have school tomorrow and I don't want to oversleep it." Hiyori stood up and put on her jacket.

Yato and Hiyori went out of the Diner's but Yukine sat there a little longer.

He was so full and the fact that he couldn't walked straight because of the crowd, didn't make it any easier. When he suddenly bumped into someone. "Oh I am so sorry. Are you okey?" Yukine rubbed his head. He stood up and wanted to give her a hand.

"Oh no no, I am sorry." She ignored his gesture, stood up and was gone. He rubbed his head and went outside to Hiyori and Yato.

"So Yukine, Yato. I really enjoyed the dinner."

"Anytime Hiyori. We appreciate it."

"See you soon!" Hiyori smiled at them and went home.

It was getting pretty late and Yato and Yukine had a long day behind them.

Yukine continuously yawned and rubbed his eyes to not fall asleep right away. Yukine moved his sleepy body to Kofuku's house as he noticed that Yato stared in another direction. He sighed. "What are you doing? I don't think there are any Ayakashis this night."

"I am alright, you should go get some sleep." Yato smiled at him.

He was a little bit concerned about Yato what he was up to but he was too tired to think about it.
"Ok well then, good night. If something will happen call me." They both waved goodbye to each other.

As Yato noticed Yukine wasn't looking at him anymore he sank his hand and his face turned blank and in a more thoughtful expression.

He jumped from roof to roof bored as always with his hands in his pockets.

'It was the best day for me..us after a long time. And all smiled and we had fun together. But why am I feeling that I couldn't do my best? I am still feeling I am not good enough. I need to try harder. But what can I do?'

It was a bright night that day. Yato was dragged from all the beautiful stars in the sky. A little grin appeared on his face but disappeared as soon as it came and he looked to the ground again.

'No, I can't think of this negativity. I won't let my past identify who I am. I want to be a god of fortune. I need to be strong. I need to make her the happiest person alive.'

He was torn from his thoughts as he saw a black silhouette right in front of him. A silhouette which formed a girls statue with long hair, which flew in the summer breeze wind.

He stopped his movements and put his hands out of his pockets.

Hey Guys! So I split the first chapter into two parts because I think it was too long for just one chapter. What do you think? Is this length now okey or should it be longer for a chapter!

See you soon!✌🏻
