"Hiyori?"

The silhouette was already about to move away when Yato reached out his hand to her and called out that name once more. She stopped her movements, turned to him and took a step forward where the moon caught her shape and Yato could now see her. She has long brown hair, like Hiyori, but with ice-blue eyes. Her eyes glowed like the ocean but in a calm and an endless floating way.

"You are not Hiyori?" He didn't want to face her the whole time, but he couldn't help. Something was different with her.

She looked at him confused. "No, I'm not. Who are you?"

That's when he noticed her pink tail underneath her long black coat. She has a tail? Why does she have a tail. Who is she. Could it be that there are more? How is that possible?

He looked at her in wonder not because he was frustrated but he was curious what was up to her.

"You can see me? Why can you see me? Who are you anyway?" She claimed.

"Oh, that's simple. Because I am a god."

She smiled as if she had already expected such an answer. She stroked one of her long strands from her face behind her ear. "Oh, I see."

"I've never seen you here before. What are you doing this late?"

"Oh, you couldn't. I just moved here in this town today. I'm little exploring the area."

"I can show you around, if you want to."

"Thank you but I think that is not necessary."

She looked over the town with its beautiful small alley's and its lamps. The moon lit up brightly in the sky. You could sense all the small spirits who don't belong to anybody and stray through the wonderful night atmosphere.

He still couldn't believe that there are more people between the near-shore and the far-shore.

"I think I will keep going. Bye then." —-

She jumped high up in the air to another rooftop when she turned around to see him one last time in this night.

"Wait, I don't even know...
your name."

Yato began to yawn and it was also time for him to go to sleep.

He didn't want to wake up Daikoku by entering through the front door of Kofuku's house. Daikoku does always work till late night and wake up early. It happened once as Yato came home drunk one night and turned on the light. Unfortunately, he can't remember what happened after that. But apparently, Yukine woke up from that crash too and filmed it. It was terrible what happened to him and Yato vowed never to wake him up again.

Instead he got in through the window of his and Yukine's room. Yato went to sleep and accidentally woke up him.

"Yato, don't be so noisy this late."

"I am sorry, but since you are awake I have to tell you something." Yato stammered. "There was a girl. But not a real girl. I mean she is girl after all but she wasn't from this world. I mean her body."

Yukine rubbed his eyes just so that he could see him through a tiny gap. But then he immediately closed it again because of the bright moonlight, which shone into the room. He turned around and put his pillow on his head.

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Please go to bed and leave me alone."

"Yeah, mh you are right. Never mind. Good night."

"Good night."

Yato sighed and stayed awake for a little longer to think about the day and everything before he fell asleep as well.

The next day had begun and like every morning Hiyori's alarm clock rang when she had to go to school. Even if she was quite tired and would have preferred to sleep a little longer, she did not want to be late again and got ready. She packed her backpack, brushed her hair and put on her school uniform before she went downstairs to her mom. Her mom always gave her a lunchbox for the school.

"Thank you mom. See you after school."

"Bye sweetie."

Even if she was a little late, she should still manage to get to class on time.

When she arrived at school, her friends Ami and Yama-chan were waiting for her and were very surprised about her.

"Wow, I can't believe my eyes. Someone is at school on time." Ami-chan said.

"But don't get used to it." They all giggled because they knew it was true.

"Did you bring your math homework, too?" Yama-chan asked.

"Of course they are right in my ba.."
She remembered after she came home from the dinner with Yato and Yukine she did her homework pretty late and left it on...
They are on my desk. "Never mind." And sank her head on the table.

"Something never changes. Right Hiyori?"

She sighed.

After a few seconds, teacher Mrs. Tachibana entered the classroom and left the door open. "Quiet please. Before we start the lessons I would like to introduce you to your new classmate. Could you please come in?"

And then there was she.

Although Hiyori was far too tired at that time of day, she straightened her body up and could not take her eyes off of her. All of her classmates felt the same way. She was that gorgeous.

"She is from the mainland from further away, as her parents have just found a job here and moved to the city. So even if she comes to you in the middle of the semester, I want you to welcome her into your class as much as anyone else. So, that should be enough information for you. Could you please tell everyone your name?"

"Y-yes. Hello, everyone. My name is Miyo Furukawa."
