"ZOE wake up, wake up already."
"What!" I moaned from under my cocoon of blankets.
"Mum said to wake up and get ready" my little sister responds.
I was about to ask what for, but then I remembered that my family was going on our first holiday to Hawaii! It was going to be so fun! I haven't been on an airplane ever in my life.
So, I jump out of bed and shooed my annoying, bratty little sister out of my room, where I quickly grabbed my stuff and bounced out to the front yard to where the car and my parents were waiting and quickly threw my suitcase into the car.
The car ride to the airport took forever but once we got there the ride was worth it! My stomach had butterflies and before I knew it, we had boarded at the airplane and waited for lift-off, but little did I know that was about to happen next, would change my life forever!

The plane ride seemed to be taking an extremely long time and all I had to accompany me with my annoying little sister, food and my drawing. We didn't get to watch anything because there was no Internet, and I was bored out of my mind!
But I guess these moments are the ones we should most cherish, because you never know what can happen next, I learned this lesson the hard way. At one moment we were soaring through the sky, nothing seemed to be wrong, just the ride had taken longer than I thought. Then we started to shake. I looked at my window and we were over the top of a forest. I asked mum if we were close to Hawaii, she shook her head, concern glinted in her eyes. The shaking only got worse, and soon people were sending out shouts of shock, and were even tumbling to the ground!
And sure, enough over the speaker the pilot says, "We have to make an emergency landing repeat we have to make an emergency landing be cautious!"
My head was shouting that this would not turn out right, the butterflies in my stomach came back I was scared, no, I was horrified I didn't know what to do, we were falling to the forest floor faster and faster as if we were an asteroid descending to the ground.
Suddenly they came to another jolt from the airplane, and I crashed sideways into the window which broke and soon I started spinning towards the ground faster and faster, I started to feel dizzy. I don't think the fall was too far down but the last thing I remember was my mother calling my name than I hit the ground.
Great holiday huh!
