Chapter 6

"Pheebie?" I whispered at the smiling girl in front of me.

"ZOE!" Pheebie shouted and ran into my arms, knocking the air out of me

"what are you doing here?" I asked her sternly, Pheebie stepped away from me and gestured towards the two men I heard before, for other men and three women "they saved me she "responded happily

"WHAT!?" I exclaimed "THEY SAVED YOU!?"

"yes. yes, they did" Pheebie responded calmly

"wow" I turned to the group "thank you guys so much!!" then came a bunch of "no probs, your welcomes and don't worry about its" from the crowed I was actually really happy that my little sister was safe, which even surprised me, I faced the strong looking man "what's your name?" I asked "well lil one" he began "my name is Dustin'"

"well Dustin there is something in the woods, later today it howled, and I was scared out of my mind and started to run the other direction but...I fell and well, ended up here." Dustin snorted in amusement (though it did look like he went a little bit pale) "well lil one, what you would've heard would be a would be a wolf!" I froze in shock and turned to Pheebie, "where's mum and dad?" Pheebies expression darkened, she sighed and whispered sadly " we went back to the aeroplane last week and neither of them were there, I also asked Dustin if when he found me he had also seen my parents and to be sure I showed him a picture I had in my bag, he swore he hadn't seen them!"

Franticly I yelled, "We have to go back, we have to see if there are any clues we got away!"

"ok" zoe whispered back importantly "I just have to ask Dustin if he can give us a group to adventure with. It's a long journey",

I nodded and whispered, "I just hope we don't get the dumb guy, what's his name?"

Pheebie giggled "DESMOND, His name is DESMOND!!" suddenly we both burst into fits of laughter clutching our stomachs and rolling around the floor unable to contain ourselves.

After dinner Pheebie and I walked up to Dustin, "you'll good" he asked kindly "you's looked a state rollin' on the ground like tha" I smiled

"Were all good Pheebie and I would like to ask a favour, is that ok?"

"Weeeell..." Dustin began "as long as it aint' a secon meal, we seem to be runnin 'low on supplies!" Dustin finished with a thoughtful look. I giggled and tucked my hair behind my ear," No, I was actually wondering if you could put together a group of people for us, Pheebie and I would like to go to the aeroplane wreckage for clues that our parents have escaped!" my face had turned stern as I said this, Dustin scratched his chin, "well I don' think it'll be a amazin' group tha' you deserve, but' I'll see what I can do" I smiled at his response and gave him a quick hug, when I pulled away he seemed to be slightly taken aback with my sudden sign of affection, and out of all things he could of done, he patted me on the head! "thank you" I muttered, then grabbed Pheebies hand and pulled her away before things got anymore awkward. When we were far away from Dustin, Pheebie turned to me with an exited grin "I CAN'T WAIT" she yelled "WE... ARE...GOING-"

"ZOE" I yelled

"yes" Pheebie asked innocently

"please stop saying Dot, Dot, Dot, it's really annoying"

"fine" Pheebie responded rolling her eyes "now, where was I? oh yes, we are going to see what happened to mum and dad!" Pheebie eyes were now glinting with joy, then suddenly her face went dark and her smile turned into a frown " what if...what if the...there d...d... DEAD!" Pheebies face turned pale, Pheebie had just spoken what I was worrying about myself, what if they were dead?
