Chapter 7

I shook my head furiously, took a deep breath then put on a brave face, "no" I whispered, Pheebie looked up, "no" I said again this time more confidently, "NO, they will be alive! and if there not then at least we still have a family to come back to!" I said gesturing to the people around us, I lowered my voice " not many people have that, now come here" I opened my arms wide welcoming Pheebie into my warm embrace, Pheebie, Without hesitating, rushed into my arms, making me stumble backwards "it's ok" I whispered in her ear wiping the tears of her cheeks " It's all going to be ok" I rubbed her back and pulled her arms length away from me, Pheebie rubbed her eyes and smiled "Thanks" she grinned, "no probs" I responded.

There came a sudden tap on my shoulder, startling me, I swung around to see Desmond looking down at me with watery eyes and said through sniffles, "that....was..so..BEAUTIFUL" then he ran off sobbing, I turned to Pheebie and rolled my eyes, she giggled.

The next morning at breakfast Dustin approuched us "heya" I said cheerfully waving at him

"Hi" Dustin grunted back

"what's up?" I asked kindly (I was starting to gain a lot of respect for this man)

"well" he started "so I pu' together a group, for you girls to travel wit', bu' I don' have any food to give ya', so you gonna' have ta get it yourself, is tha' ok?"

"All good" I responded, nodding my head "who are they?" I asked eagerly , Dustin turned around and his booming strong voice shouted "com' here' now, don' be shy, com' on", about 30 seconds later a small group of people turned the corner of the cave and started walking toward us in a straight line, when the group reached us Dustin started introducing them. In the group there was 3 people and they looked very kind, as I was looking through at the three of them i came past a girl about my age looking right at me, when she saw that I had caught her she winked, I blushed and looked down. "Zoe?" Dustin asked "you ok?" I looked up, blushed again and nodded. "well" Dustin began again, pointing to the person at the front of the line "this is Noah", I gaped as Dustin said this, Noah was a very pretty boy, he seemed to be about my age and, he had green eyes, light brown hair and a cute smile, I blushed and looked down, why did everyone here have to be so pretty? "Zoe?" Dustin asked "are you' ok?" I nodded and looked up again, just in time to here Dustin lean over and whisper in Noahs ear "If I knew any betta' I woul' say she has a crush in you" and Noah blush, I blushed again, but did not look down, the next person Dustin introduced was the girl who winked at me, "this" Dustin began " is the legendary Emma", as Dustin said this Emma smiled and did a peace sign with her fingers, Emma had light red hair with a tint of dark orange, she had light blue eyes with a faint mark going across the left one that looked a lot like a scar, but the mark only made her look prettier, her eyes held a speck of mischief beneath them, Emma caught my eye and winked again, YET again I blush, Damn it, I thought, I probably look really dumb, I groaned and got a strange look from Pheebie, Dustin moved onto the third person, this person seemed to be around 19years old, she looked VERY mature and serious, Dustin gestured toward her, "this is Lillia" , Lilia was strange, she had bubblegum pink hair and ocean blue eyes that shone in the dim light, if she smiled then she would look very pretty, but her strict face kind of put me off, she made me want to run the other direction screaming (I almost did, but then I thought that would be offensive, so I tried my hardest to stay put and keep my mouth shut) AND, damn it me and my stupid cheeks I BLUSHED, I almost screamed then, but instead I turned to face Dustin, " thank you Dustin, when do you think we will be able to leave?" Dustin sighed and rubbed his temples, thinking "Maybe"  he began " tomorrow mornin', is tha' ok?" I smiled and nodded my head "that's all fine with me" then I turned to everyone else "is that ok with you guys?" 

"Of course" Emma responded cheerfully, jumping up and down as if eager to get out of the cave,

"All fine with me" Noah said, almost just as exited, as for Lillia, well she just nodded her head swiftly, turned around on her heel and walked of without saying a word.

 The next morning, I was walking through the dark forest with, Lillia, Emma, Pheebie and Noah, The clouds were grey and the sky was dark, no one would be able to tell it was morning, it was quiet and eerie, then suddenly I heard a piercing scream and I whip around to see what it was, but there was nothing, everyone was gone and I was alone in the forest, how was I going to survive? Then I heard the growling I had heard the last time I was in the woods and large ripping sounds, I turn around again and squinted into the darkness, there seemed to be a wreckage, the thoughts of my lost companions slipped away as I started to run deeper into the woods, closer to the wreckage, running closer I could see that it looked like a crashed aeroplane, then it hit me, it must be the plane I was thrown out of! As I approached and came closer to the plane I slowed down to a walk, then I froze right were I was, for right at my feat were my parents, except they had blood coming out of their mouths and they seemed really burnt, what I could make out of one person I saw he was dad I saw  he was missing a leg, I checked his pulse but found non, then I checked mums, I sighed with relief there was a pulse, but it was weak, so I started doing CPR "Mum" I chocked through tears " please don't leave me, please, please mummy, I love you!" My mums eyes shot open, though she didn't look happy or angry to see me, she looked scared, "Run" she chocked " Run before it gets you to" her voice was weak, but I could tell this was a demand, but I wouldn't hear it "No" I whispered "no mummy I won't leave you, so please live, Pheebie and I both need you!" then I remembered, I had left Pheebie! Then mums pulse was gone. I heard the growling from the woods and out emerged a massive Grey wolf, I tried to get up off my knees and run from it but I seemed attached to the ground, next thing I knew I was being torn apart and eaten.

I woke up screaming loudly
