Chapter 1 (moving day)

"Emma come on it's time to get up" my mom yelled at me.

Today we are moving from Pennsylvania, US all the way to Sydney, Australia. I know you're probably thinking why would you make such a big move. Well my dad got offered a job that we need to move to Sydney for.

Im excited to see my friend Ashton I haven't seen him since I was 8. (Emma is 17.) I'm scared cause I have to leave my bestfriend Mackenzie, but we will keep in touch and visit.

I didn't realize it was 7:50 until I picked up my phone to check twitter. My flight leaves at 9:00 and we have to get there early because my mom thinks we will miss our flight even though we always get there early.

I hop in the shower, then I throw my sweats and a t-shirt on and put my hair in a messy bun. I run out of the bathroom and make sure I have everything I need. I look at my room once more before I close my door and walk away.

I walk through the house remembering all the memories my family have had here. All the holidays we spent together.

I take one last look at the house, take my bags and shut the door. I turn to the car and there I see standing Mackenzie. I run over to her and jump into her arms with tears streaming down our faces.

"I'm gonna miss you so much" Mackenzie said to me.
"Me too" I said.

She helps me load my bags in the car. Once everything was loaded we turned to each other and hugged as tight as we knew it would be our last hug for a while.

I hop in the car with tears streaming non-stop down my face same with Mackenzie's.

Once we pulled away from that house with all of our stuff packed I knew everything was gonna change.
