I sucked in a breath as I avoided eye contact with him.
"Em this is my friend Luke"
"Hi" I said barely above a whisper still avoiding eye contact.
"I think you guys go to the same school" ash said
"Ya we do" Luke replied with a smirk.
'Oh god' I thought to myself
"Anyways I'm not here to chat so what can I get you guys?"
"I'll have a caesar salad and an ice tea please" I said still not making eye contact as I handed the menu to Luke.
Ashton ordered and luke left.
"Em you know you can order more than just a salad."
"I know I'm just not really hungry" I said looking down tugging on my sleeves.
"Are you okay Emma?"
"Yeah I'm fine ash why?"
"I don't know you just seem a little off today."
"I'm fine "
We waited patiently for our food to arrive making small talk.

Once our food came we ate silently.
"Hey I'm gonna pay for this then we can go, okay?"
"Yeah here" I said while struggling to get the money out of my purse.
"No Em I'm paying and we aren't gonna argue about it"
I sighed in defeat and start to get up to leave.
"Ready to go?"
"Yup"

We walked out to his car and hopped in. the turned on the radio and 'Somewhere in Neverland' by all time low came on aka my favorite song.

I started to sing along with it then ashton joined in

"No but seriously we should post a cover on YouTube I play the drums do you play anything?"
"I play guitar" I said

Ashton dropped me off at my house. I ran inside and up to my room and grabbed the guitar case leaning against my wall. I ran downstairs and out the door to Ashton's house. I walked inside and up to Ashton's room to see him setting up the camera. we got set up and hit record.

I started strumming the chords as Ashton started to sing the first verse.
