Chapter 6 (what happened?!?!)

I was sitting on a bench outside my school still thinking if I should call ash or not.

I decided I would just walk home and not bother him. I stood up and started limping home with pain shooting through my body with every step I took.

I turned down my street with tears dried on my face and I felt more coming. I saw Ashton outside his house. oh great.

I walked passed his house keeping my head down and tried to walk normally so he wouldn't see me. let's just say that didn't work at all.

He came running over to me and asked what happened. by now I had tears falling down my face because of the pain I was in. He lifted my head up to see my face. He studied my face and gasped as he saw the bruises, cut open eyebrow(which was bleeding), and my bloody nose.

He then looked down to see my swollen ankle.

"C'mon Em let's go get you cleaned up"
"No ash I'm fine"
"Em just c'mon"
"No Ashton, I said no"
"Emma please"
"No" I said tears streaming down my face and I started to feel weak.
"Please Em I don't want to see you suffer"

Thats when I collapsed into his arms. No I didn't pass out I just wasn't strong enough to even hold up my own body with all this pain.

He then picked me up and started to walk inside his house. I hid my face in the side of his neck embarrassed that I was so weak I couldn't even keep myself standing.

"I'm sorry" I cried/whispered into his neck.
"Em there's no need to be sorry you did nothing wrong" i slightly smiled.

He set me down on his couch and went to get a first aid kit and a ace bandage. Once he came back he started to clean my cuts.

"This might sting a little" he said

He sprayed the cut cleaning medicine on my cuts and took some wet paper towel and cleaned up the blood. at this point my nose stopped bleeding so we just had to clean the blood. He then wrapped the ace bandage around my ankle.

"I'll be right back I forgot to get some ice packs"

Once he walked out the room the front door opened revealing Mrs. Irwin.

I started worrying because her and my parents are very close so I didn't want her seeing me and telling my parents.

She looked over at me and gasped. She dropped her bag and came running over to me.

" Oh my god Emma what happened?"
I needed to make up a lie quickly.
"I was walking home cause I missed the bus to ask my teacher a question about home work, and when I was walking home I twisted my ankle landing on this stupid rock."
"Oh ok be more careful next time"

She turned around and walked out the room. I looked up and saw Ashton standing in the doorway with disappointment in his eyes. Once I heard mrs Irwin's bedroom door shut I said,
"I'm sorry Ashton I just can't have my parents knowing, just please don't tell anyone."
"I just don't understand why I can't know who does this to you"
" It's almost all the popular kids like the sluts will just call me names which doesn't hurt me as much as the guys do especially these three assholes, but I'm drawing a blank on there names but that doesn't matter"
" So anyway tomorrow's Friday" I said smiling. he smiled back and said
"Ya I can't wait"
He then leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back. Our kiss lasted long until I heard someone clear there throat. We broke apart and looked up to see Lauren(Ashton's sister) standing there. I blushed and hid my face into the side of Ashton's neck.

"Hi Lauren what's up?" Ashton asked. I slightly laughed at how he's acting like we didn't even just have a make out session infront of his sister.
" Oh I just came in here to see if Emma wanted to stay for dinner." she said holding back a laugh.
" Oh um sure I guess" I said looking at Ashton nodding his head.
"Okay" she said leaving the room.

"So wanna go upstairs and watch a movie?"
"Sure"

We walk upstairs to his room. He has a bunch of band posters hanging up and picture frames of family and friends on his nightstand and dresser.

"So what do you wanna watch?" He asks
"I don't really care"

We decided on monsters inc. but really didn't pay attention cause we ended up having another make out session. oops.

He broke away from the kiss and smiled as dinner was ready.
