Chapter 4 (our place)

I was awoken by Ashton shaking my gently. I look up into his eyes and he says,
"Em it's 5:30 I think you should go home before your parents start wondering where you are"
" Okay" I said

I tried to sit up but slightly screamed in pain. I look down and see the cuts and now big purple bruises. A tear rolled down my face but before I could wipe it away Ashton already did. I looked up at him.

"Why are you crying beautiful?" He questioned. I slightly laughed
"Now you laughing, why?"
"I know you don't think I'm beautiful why would you I'm ugly that's why everyone hates me"
"No Em you are beautiful and everyone is just jealous"
"Why would someone be jealous of me?"
"Your funny, beautiful, and just plain out amazing"

I looked at him and he looked at me. Next thing I knew Ashton started leaning in and I didn't know what to do. I started panicking. I knew I liked him just I got scared.

Before I could do anything his lips were on my and I kissed him back. He separated out lips and smiled at me I smiled back.

" Would you like to go to dinner with me on Friday?" He asked
"Like a date?"
"Yeah like a date"
"I would love to" I replied.

"You should probably get going your parents are probably worried sick." ash said
" I could just text them I'm over here?"
"Oh yeah you could just do that" he giggled a little.

I texted my parents saying I was at Ashton's house and they just replied ok.

"You know we don't have each others phone number" I said
"Oh yeah here"

We exchanged phone numbers and decided to watch a movie. Once we got the movie on we got a blanket and cuddled together.

-After the movie-

"Well I should probably get home for dinner." I said
"Okay let me help you up I don't want you hurting yourself."
"Okay thanks"

Once I got up he helped me walk to the door. "are you gonna be okay walking home?"
"Yeah I'll be fine. Thanks so much ash, your amazing." I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"No problem Em. If anything happens at school tomorrow call me okay? and when you get home ice your bruises"
"Okay thanks again ash"

-After dinner at home in my bedroom-

I was laying on my bed icing my bruises as I went over the things that happened today in my head.

My head started to hurt because of all the thinking so I decided to sit out on my balcony since it wasn't extremely hot out.

I walk out and sit down just enjoying the fresh air. I sit there for a couple for a couple minutes with my eyes closed clearing my head when my phone starts to ring.

"Hello?"
"Hey it's ash"
"Hey ash what's up"
"Look down"
I looked down and saw him standing there and he must've seen I was confused so he said
"I have to show you something put on some shoes and bring your phone."
"Okay?" Then he hung up I went inside and shut my balcony door then threw some shoes on and walked outside to meet him.

"So where are we going?"
"Just follow me"

We walked to a park but he didn't stop at the park he walked over to the tress and started walking through them.

"Ashton what are you doing" I whisper-screamed
"Don't worry come with me"

Once we got through the trees I look to see a beautiful pond with flowers planted around it and bench.

We walked over to the bench and sat down.

"This place is beautiful ash"
"Not as beautiful as you" I blushed at his comment
"I come here when I'm stressed to sad it's my peace place, maybe it can be our place"
"I'd like that" I answered looking up at him with a smile
