an earthquake,
a force strong enough to pull two places apart
a force strong enough to bridge people together
what we have is what i call an earthquake
a phenomena i couldn't predict
a feeling of continuous worry
that maybe,
we'd tear something down
in ways we didn't even anticipate
however most of the times
i can't feel the force it brings
you can't either
we're just beating around the bush
trying to find an answer
on why
did we end up this way
constantly leaving our feelings astray
looking for a better day
an earthquake,
can make things fall apart
however,
is this scene even a part?
i wasn't informed i'd love to be the victim of this play
that i'd like the idea of both love and dismay
for a moment i started wondering,
who will stop the breaking
the shaking
the beating
the anticipating
hearts
of two people
connected and diverted
by a force
i call an earthquake
