so, this was a homework for our creative writing class about love and hatred. just an eight-line poem.

-

Love, it burns like whiskey against the back of your throat in a cold chilling night.

Love, it steals like a thief with smooth words flashing crimson skies on your cheeks before disappearing in front of your sight.

Love, it dives like a rod in the ocean fishing with all you have leaving you with nothing.

Love, it grows like a plant you give all your light to just to somehow end up dying.

Love, as simple as it seems can make your whole world complicated.

Love, can be the greatest traitor you prayed for and always wanted.

Love, gave us the excitement like the baby teeth we never really needed.

and Love, as beautiful as it sounds, became a paragon of hatred.
