Sal POV

I made my way to lunch, but when I got to the cafeteria the only people there were Travis, Jake, and the demon who killed my mother.

"Hey sal, long timeme no see am I right? And oh! It's such a shame to see you with a prosthetic!" The demon practically hissed at me.

"Sally Face I haven't seen you since the little incident last year, don't you remember that? It was a great time. Am I right, Travis?" Fucking Jake. An asshole since day one.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," Travis seemed focused on something else. Almost as if he was retracing the whole fight from last year. The fear in his face almost scared me.

Next thing I know I can see in his brain, almost as if I was in his point of view of the fight.

I look down at my phone. It's 3:56. Shit, my father going to kill me if I get home late! I thought.

"Hey! What the heck, are you not gonna help me finish these losers up?" Jake yelled me then started to run my way.

"Don't follow me! Seriously, Jake, don't!" He threw his hands up backed away and started to head back over to where Sal and Larry was but couldn't find them.

I ran home and the next thing I know my mother is opening the door and warns me that father isn't in a good mood tonight but he's still at the church setting up for Sunday.

"Listen, he'll be home soon, very soon, so I need you to quickly run up stairs and get in the shower, or anything that may make you seem busy! If he notices that you just got here he'll kill the both of us! Please, Travis, this is for your safety!" My mother was obviously concerned about me and not herself.

I got upstairs, ran into the bathroom and turned the water on. I realize that I'm not even undressed yet, but it makes it seem realistic enough. The door slams, my heart stops. My father's home.

I come back into the cafeteria, but now it's just Larry, Ashley, Todd, and Chug. Now the cafeteria door slams, but this time it slams shut. Travis had walked in with his dad, but he was acting like a slave towards him, obeying his every demand and his dad would beat him if he messed up even the slightest.

"Sally, man, wake up! Seriously dude, you're scaring me!" Larry's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Shit man, it happened again didn't it? We seriously need to get you a therapist or something!"

This is the third time today that I've blanked out in front of Larry so of course he's overly concerned.

"Listen Larry, I think Travis is in trouble! Becauseinmydreamhismomwas-"
I was cut off by Ash.

"Wait. First of all, are talking about Travis, Travis Phelps? Also talk slower I can't understand a thing you just said."

"Yes, that Travis. And listen, in my vision thingy I was in Travis's point of view and..." I explained the whole thing to them, but I don't think any of them actually understood what I was talking about.

"Wait Sal, I'm confused," Chug took a big bite of this chocolate bar, chewed it up, swallowed it, then continued, "So you have visions! Does that mean that you could tell me my future?"

Chug was never been the smartest, but he did kind of have a point. I may not be able to see the future but some crazy shit just happened.

"Sal, listen dude, just because you saw that, doesn't mean that he's actually in trouble with his dad. Maybe you're just... concerned... about him." Larry seemed to cringe when he said concerned. He obviously really wants to kill Travis.

"Whatever, eathier way I seriously need to piss, like really badly!" I pushed my way through the hallways to get to the bathroom.

"Ughhh! Fuck you! And, and... and fuck your fucking... thing. Ugh! I-I hate you, you nasty badtard!" Someone was having breakdown, but I couldn't figure out who.

Travis, it's Travis-fucking-Phelps. Who would've guessed.

"Hey, dude. I realize that you kinda really hecking hate me, but I just want to let you know what I-" I was cut off by Travis.

"Oh! Look who's here to save the day! Sal Fisher," he wiped his eyes from tears as he walked out of a stoll, "what're going to do, tell me that's it's okay? Because it's not fucking okay! You ha- actually you know what? I'm so fucking done right now, I don't even care! seeyouaroundsal." He mumbled that last part so quiet that I don't even know if that's what he said.

He walked out, and I really had to piss, so I pissed.

There was something in the stoll Travis was in so I went to check it out. It was a bag, in fact I think it was the bag that he takes to school everyday.

What the heck do I do? Do I give it back to him? No, because if I did he'd get mad. Then it clicked. I wrote my number down on a paper towel and wrote "call/text if you ever need help -Sal Fisher (sorry)". I slipped it in his bag and turned it into the office.

"Sal, where have you been? It's taken you a very long time to go use the restroom," Ash stated.

"It's fine, I just found someone's bag and turned it into the office. I promise everything's fine!"

"Ah, dude did you check what was inside?" Larry joked.

We laughed, we ate, and we had a great lunch together. The six of us - me, Larry, Ashley, Todd, Maple, and Chug - were all there.
