Author's note- 'Talking to self'

Y/n is ridding the subway to school. He rubs his pocket to feel the deck of cards from the night before.

Y/n: 'What happened last night? I thought it was just a weird dream but I still have the deck of cards he gave me, but I can't open it. Wait if everything that happened last night is true then did I really get into a game between Gods? That's actually pretty awesome. But how do I play? They said to enter the heart of man but I have no idea how, much less what to do once I get there. Ahhh this is all so confusing. Whatever I'll figure it out sooner or later. More importantly I hope Yua is ok. I hope she didn't get in to much trouble with her dad because of me.'

The subway comes to a stop and the doors open.

Y/n: 'Well I'll ask her about it later I've gotta run so I won't be late'

Lunch time ----------------------------

Y/n walks into the courtyard drinking some iced coffee with some iced tea in his other hand. He heads in Yua's direction. She pulls a bento box out of her bag and smiles when she sees Y/n but in her eyes there are hints of sadness and stress.

Y/n: Hey Yua I brought you a drink.

He hands her the iced tea.

Yua: Thank you. Do you have a lunch today?

Y/n: No I'm not hungry.

Yua: Y/n! That's not ok! You have to eat. Especially with how much you're always running and jumping around racing the clock to school every day.

She reaches into her bag pulling out another bento box and handing it to Y/n. He is visibly surprised but accepts the box.

Yua: I noticed you haven't been eating lunch lately so I decided to make you one.

Y/n: Thank you.

The two sit down and eat without saying anything for a minute.

Y/n: What happened yesterday after the call?

Yua doesn't respond. She continues to smile and eat like she didn't hear the question.

Y/n: Yua please I've known you for 5 years now. I can see it in your eyes, something's wrong. I noticed a long time ago, I never said anything because I didn't want to intrude but when I saw your face last night I couldn't ignore it anymore. So tell me what's wrong.

Mito steps into the courtyard and notices the two.

Yua: We'll talk after school.

Y/n: I'll hold you to that.

Mito walk up to the pair with half a sandwich in hand.

Mito: There you two are, I was beginning to think you forgot about me. Anyways I didn't understand the history project,  could you guys help me out with it.

Y/n: Yah no problem.

---After School---

Yua and Y/n are walking down the streets of Shibuya taking a detour to Yua's house.

Y/n: Alright let's not ignore the elephant in the room. What's wrong?

Without missing a step Yua replies, looking straight ahead not turning towards Y/n.

Yua: Last night my dad called. I know you could hear him yelling. He was mad that I had gone out with friends instead of doing my chores.
