The group was walking down the street and Y/n was counting some money.
Y/n: Ok if we take out what Yua spends on supplies, and what we're going to spend on food, that leaves us with 9,000 yen. Split that 3 ways and that leaves each of us with 3,000 yen. That's not bad, especially considering that was one of our shorter trips. We can make some real money off of this.
Yua: Don't forget the real reason were doing this.
Y/n: I know, but no reason not to profit right?
Mito: I suppose there's no harm in it.
The three walk into Big Bang Burger and sit down in a booth waiting their food.
Mito: So about personas do you mind telling me again exactly how you summoned them, because until I can summon my own I feel like I'll be more of a burden than a help.
Y/n: Good point, but why not ask them yourself?
Mito shows visible confusion and doesn't respond. Noticing his confusion Y/n points just above his head with his thumb.
Y/n: You can't see them as clearly as when we're in the metaverse but if you focus you can see them floating around and even hear their voice.
Yua looks above Y/n and lightly gasps noticing the two seemingly translucent women staring right back.
Yua: I never noticed that.
Y/n: I only recently noticed but it's helpful being able to talk to an actual face as opposed to a voice in my head so I see it as a plus. Well Lady luck care to tell Mito how you were summoned?
Lady luck: With pleasure. Yua was in trouble and Y/n was surrounded. I could hear his mental cries of saving her, of wanting her to be happy. On top of that his soul always carried an air of luck and gambling so I took this form and offered my support. Between Y/n's strong desire to be able to save her, and his general gambling spirit I was born.
Amaterasu: My case was much the same but instead of a desire to save, he desired strength, so I gave it to him.
Marionette: When it comes to Yua and I, Y/n was in grave danger and Yua wanted nothing more than to save her friend. She was never one to want to hurt others so I have little offensive capability. No instead I am much happier to just play the role of healer and support. Her caring nature combined with that desire gave birth to me. The reason I look the way I do is due to her suppressed feelings of feeling like she's being strung around by those around her
After listening to the stories Mito stared on with excited eyes as if wanting to hear more of his friends stories and trials but instead closes his eyes and leans back into his chair.
Mito: That sounds like something straight out of a shonen anime, awesome none the less but still. Anyways what exactly did it look and feel like when you summoned her?
Yua: It starts with a hea...
Y/n reaches over to cover Yua's mouth.
Y/n: Don't tell him what to expect.
Mito/ Yua simultaneously: Why?
The food arrives. Y/n takes a fry before responding.
Y/n: The placebo effect.
Yua: Does that apply in this scenario?
Mito: The what?
Y/n: If your mind believes something will happen, or even if you just want it badly enough, your mind will fake the symptoms. If we tell you what summoning it feels like there's a chance you would feel like you're summoning one even if your not. When were in there fighting for our lives we can't risk a "false alarm". That and I want your genuine reaction.
