Walking into the living room, I yawn as I pass in front of the TV on my way to the kitchen. Although it was Friday, I didn't have work today so I got up late. I had come out in a plain white shirt that was loosely fitted, cute grey stripped short shorts and my light pink silk robe that Seokjin gave me for my birthday last year.
"G'morning, Eomma!" Both of the kids shout, when they notice me passing in front of their show.
"Good morning, babies." I glance at them and wave tiredly. I always started my morning with a cup of coffee before I continued any interactions. But.....something seemed out of place with the kids. What was that? I turn to look for the inconsistency with the atmosphere in the living room.
"Good morning, my sweet." A handsome gentleman sat cross legged between the kids. They were snuggled deeply into his sides, holding him tightly. He was wearing a long pastel pink loose fitted shirt, with only the front tucked casually into his black slacks. His black leather belt matched the texture of his black dress shoes. He ran his fingers through his hair. It wasn't so short anymore. While his bangs reached just passed his eyes, the overall length softly reached the nape of his neck. He winks and blows a kiss in my direction.
I hate when he does that, he knows it makes him look sexy. And he knows that I like it. I cross my arms, slightly shaking my head and pursing my lips, trying to hide my smile.
"Hello Seokjin. When did you get here?" I stand my ground. He walks over to me, still smiling, holding out his arms.
"What, no hug for your baby daddy?" I chuckle and give him a tight squeezing, taking in his scent. It reminded me of how comfortable I used to be. Seokjin did everything for me, which I loved him for. But I needed to be my own person. I let go. Looking up at him, I ask again.
"When did you get here?" Stroking my hair a little, he replies breathlessly.
"A couple hours ago; Soojin let me in." He glances back at the kids, then turns to me again. "Can I stay here for the weekend? I'll sleep on the couch." He gives me his sweet puppy-dog pout, even bringing up his hands like little paws. I could feel my face straining to hold in my laughter. But I let it out when he starts to yap like a little dog.
"Fine, fine, you can stay." I reply, struggling to take a breath. "But you can sleep in the kids' room on an air mattress. I know the kids miss you and would prefer you there." His eyes widen with excitement.
"Really?!" He grabs me, pulling me into a tight hug. "Thank you!!" He let's go, kissing my cheek, then returns to the couch, sitting between the kids and hugging them lovingly.
"Oh, since you're here..." I wait for Seokjin to look at me.
"Yes, what is it?" He focuses his gaze on me.
"Well, Sorah and I were invited out tonight. So since you're here, you can stay with the kids tonight." I smile and head into the kitchen to make my coffee. I could hear the kids' excited chatter over the coffee machine.
Stirring in the cream, Sorah comes running into the kitchen, firmly wrapped in her fluffy blue bunny robe.
"OMG Unnie!" She clings to my arm, emotions flying, and speaking in a low voice. "When did HE get here?" Sorah couldn't hide her joy. She has been his biggest fan since his first film, Beautiful Flower Girl, as the supporting character that got him the leading role in the award winning film, Handsome Prince. I pull my arm away so I could drink my coffee.
"He got here earlier this morning. And he's going to be here all weekend, FOR the kids." I turn to the fridge and start taking ingredients out to make everyone breakfast. "Besides, didn't you say you wanted me to come along to the club tonight because you wanted to meet up with Yoongi?" I look at her with a raised brow. I could see she was contemplating what she really wanted.
