Vrox was left with the gut-wrenching impression that Kira didn't like his gifts.

He stared at the flower of the Vilam Mountain, which she had dropped in her panic. The frown on his face was about as ugly as the flower.

Why didn't she like his generous gift? Did hoomans, as she called herself, have the ability to read a man's virility from their semen? Even if that was the case, he didn't understand why his wasn't acceptable. He was a strong, potent male. His powerful family line allowed nothing else.

He watched her scrub her hair and skin as if she was covered in fire ants.

His feet, heavy with dismay, carried him to the nearby bushes. He plucked petals for her, untied his loincloth from his waist, and made his way to the water. His angry cock bobbed against his abdomen. It was the only part of him that wasn't phased by Kira's rejection.

He kept his eyes on her. The water was up to her shoulders, but it barely covered his chest.

"Here," he called out.

She turned, revealing a hint of that tantalizing crevice between her chest-globes.

"Thank you," she mumbled in her foreign language, before turning and resuming her panic attack.

Vrox let her be, choosing to walk to the shore and stare at the flower that she dropped in her panic. That morning, he had loomed over her before the sun had risen, counting the little dots on her nose, and then went off on his journey to the Mountain of Vilam. His thighs were burning by the time he got past the last slope, but his hands magnetized him forward. He was determined to get Kira her flower, willing to do anything to awaken a tremble under her breast.

Even after all of his attempts, he failed. Instead of infecting Kira with the same ailment in his chest, he made her break out with goosebumps of disgust.

Water rippled as Kira walked out. He didn't turn around, knowing that his body would become even heavier if he saw her nakedness.

"Vrox."

Her soft voice touched him before her palm did.

"You didn't like my gifts."

He cleared his throat when he heard the thickness of his voice. He wasn't full of anger, but rather empty with longing. He had wanted to see her smile, see her hand settle over her heart.

He wanted her to reflect his feelings.

"Hey," Kira called out in her funny language. He found it adorable how she unknowingly picked up her home tongue.

Mothers, he thought as he clenched his fists. This slip of a female doesn't even have to try to bring me to my knees.

Kira was as deceiving as a whai. She appears harmless and pulls you in with her painted innocence. By the time you realize that you're empty of your soul and full of thoughts of her, it's too late.

"Vrox, look at me."

"Are you covered?"

"Yes."

He turned around and found her wrapped in his fur.

"Thank you for your gifts. I will treasure the flower forever. It's just that humans– well, Americans at least, don't typically gift each other semen. That's a very er– intimate substance. It's like how it's inappropriate to drink while looking at someone here. On Earth, it's not appropriate to bottle your body liquids and give them as presents."

The dips on the corners of his lips persisted.

Kira gnawed on her lip. She was truly moved by his thoughtfulness. She didn't want him to feel upset.
