Chapter 9 - Love and Make up

Demi's P.O.V 

I couldn't believe I had lashed out like that, I started to sob and Marissa just stood there. "I'm so sorry Mar, I just got really jealous. She means everything to me" I cried. "Demi I know Alex is yours, I was joking but you need to go get her now. You can't just leave it, go and apologize". She said before going into the kitchen and shutting the door. She was right I had made the mistake so I needed to apologize.

I ran up the stairs, and opened Alex's door to see her chugging down a bottle of vodka. "Alex! I understand I made a mistake but that doesn't mean you start drinking" I yelled taking the bottle from her. Her eyes were puffy and I could tell she needed sleep. "Come on babe, let's get you to bed" I said soothing her while I helped her into bed. I laid next to her and started playing with her hair. She fell asleep straight away, I guess I would have to say sorry in the morning. I cuddled into her and drifted into sleep.

*Next Morning*

Alex's P.O.V

I woke up with a huge hangover, and a headache. Demi was beside me, deep in sleep. I nudged her awake. She woke up abruptly and started to yawn. "I'm sorry for being rude yesterday Demi, I would get jealous too if someone said that about you". I admitted while she cuddled into me. "Babe it was my fault I shouldn't have hit Marissa like that. I apologised to her and now it's my turn to say sorry. I'm sorry for ruining yesterday, are we still going on that date?" She asked hopefully. "I forgive you, and of course. I can't wait for it" I answered starting to get up.

I pulled my shirt on and trudged downstairs, with demi behind me following. I walked into the kitchen and saw someone had made pancakes. "I've been awake since 5am trying to make them perfect. Pretty sure I failed". She said while giggling. I pulled her into me, planting a kiss on her forehead. "They're perfect just like you". I said whispering into her ear causing her to shiver. 

We sat eating the pancakes Demi had made. I held her hand the whole time. I couldn't wait for our first date tonight.
