Chapter 6- why'd you choose him?

Raylas POV
Seeing Callum again really was something. I never thought I'd see him again to be honest.. And there he was just saying how we could stay and crash out at Ezrans castle for a bit until the wedding.
"Yep sure."
His words took me of guard and I think tiger saw I was a bit frazzled.
"Cool.", Tiger replied and then walked over to me.
He reached for my hand and I took it.
"So Zym do you mind if we take like I don't know take 2 weeks an a few days of?", Tiger said and I looked at the ground.
Why did the thought of staying with Callum make me so sad and nervous at the same time..
I guess it was because we didn't leave on a good note.
Just the thought of Callum's sad face..
It made my heart beat fast.
Those sad eyes..
I then realised how much I was gripping onto my fiancé's hand.
I loosened and squeezed my left arm nervously.
"That seems ok but you better be the best guards when you come back.", Zym chuckled and I felt eyes staring at me.
I looked up from the ground at looked at Callum.
Then there was a feeling that was all to unfamiliar it made its way from the tips of my fingers to the out of my stomach.
I glanced away.
What's wrong with me?
Tiger then shook hands with Zym.
"I don't wait to meet your friends ray.", He chuckled but he growled under his breath.
I should probably mention how Tiger still doesn't fully like humans.
He does now then he used to I know that for sure.
But a part of him still despised them because of what happened to his mother.
Humans killed his mother in cold blood when he was just four.
That's why he became an assassin. Then he changed his mind and joined an academy to train him into becoming a dragon guard.

The day carried on slowly.
I packed my bags and put my armour into the wardrobe.
I looked at my reflection.
I can't believe me and Tiger are going to get married.
A smile appeared on my face and I hummed a tune underneath my breath.
Tigs appeared in the door way and kissed me.
I leaned in begging for more.
But my mind went to Callum and I kissed him harder trying to get that stupid human out of my head.
He leaned of unexpectedly.
"Hey you know I'm saving that stuff for the honeymoon.", He panted his hands on my hips I blushed and my mind went straight to where my hands where.
My hands where on the edge of his top.
"Oh I-I'm sorry."
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"No worry's babe it's cool."

He was fast asleep but I couldn't sleep all I could think about was Callum.
Why wouldn't he leave my head.
He had grown older and much to my surprise he had muscles.
His face still looked the same his green emerald eyes as breath taking as-
What did I just think?!
I sighed and rolled over looking at my sleeping Tigs.
He looked a lot like Runan and it made me smile thinking of him.
Although what made him different to runan was his eye marks.
They where a dark blue and so where his ocean eyes.
I tucked a loose stand of hair behind his ear and snuggled next to him.
His breath tickled the top of my head and I smiled falling asleep..

-A week passed-
We entered Ezrans kingdom much to tigers annoyed growls. I sighed and held onto Tigers hand.
I gave him a sympathetic smile and then walked into the castle.

Ezrin POV
Callum was acting strange.
Raylas and Tigers wedding was only two days away.
He was always drinking and using his sky powers electrocute my servants I send up to get him out of his room.
He was my chief adviser but still my brother.
I worried it was because he loved Rayla and was sad about her marrying someone else..
But I must be going insane.
He loves Claudia!
Or am I?...

Rayla POV
I brushed my hair.
To be fair staying in this huge castle is a nice change.
Me and Tiger had a massive bedroom,(all to ourselves),and a huge bathroom.
Compared it what we where moving into I was kinda a bit jealous!
I sighed and put my hair up in a bun.
"Looks nice on you.."
"Callum!",I said surprised as I jumped with joy.
Callum looked a mess his hair was ruffled and his clothes where back to front he stenched of alcohol.
But Callum was my friend he was upset about something I wanted to cheer him up.
I eyed my suitcase with my dresses in.
"I need your help..What should I ware tonight?",I asked him as I took three dresses out from my suitcase.
"Shouldn't Tiger do this?",He asked a bit of spite in his vioce his breath smelt of beer.
"Well..It's unlucky for the husband to see the lady in her party dress!",I squealed as I then untied my hair.
"Party?!",He esclamed his mouth opened wide.
"Yes you,Ez,Soren,and my Tigs all get to go on a bachelor party!",I squealed again as I jumped up and down.
"Any way..Turn around.",I made a turn with my fingers at Callum.
He blushed..Such a childish thing to do!
"Oh-",He coughed into his hand,"Right!"
I put on the first dress.
It was a light violet with purple gems on.
The bottom of it faded into light purple to dark.
I took of my nightie and slipped it on.

"Rayla what do you...",it was Ezrin I stopped.
"I'm just trying my party dresses..that's all.",I snapped
Ezrans eyes looked over o Callum.."What's he doing here?",He asked and my smiled dropped.
"Can I open my eyes?"
"No!",We both screamed as I then styled my hair.
Ezrin came in and sat down.
"Mind if I join in seeing as this is as friend thing?"
He seemed to emphasise on the word friend which made me a bit confused.
I smiled though,"Sure.".
After I had tried on the other two.
I still couldn't decide.
"Which one will sweep Tigs of his feet?",I asked both of them as I was holding a cyan dress against my body.
"The violet one..It matches your eyes.",Callum smiled his chin resting on his hand and his hand on his thigh.
My face tinged pink as I glanced away from Callum's handsome face.
"The Cyan one.It reminds me of what you would ware when you where an assassin.",Ezrin replied as he nodded and smiled,"It looks good on you."
I smiled.
It felt nice getting compliments from a few other people in a once in a while.
"Boys...Pls let me decide!",I looked over Claudia was standing there smug.
My smiles dropped and I felt somewhat angry that she was here.
I didn't know why.
"Hi boys!",She then kissed Callum on the cheek.
"Hi Callum..",She flirtily smiled.
"The violet one.",She snappily said.
Now I wondered how long had she been standing out there for...
"You sure?!",I said as I looked my eyes at the other two.
"I'm still undecided."

Callum POV
I felt my heart mind body and spirit pleading to kiss Rayla.
Not just that..Hug her hold her hand..Dance with her.
I knew I can't do it because she's getting married.
And because I'm with Claudia.
I sighed and jugged down another bottle of cider.
I felt my brain go all smushy.
"Rayla..",I panted.
I then felt a sudden urge to do something nasty.
I nodded it of and fell into a long sleep.
As the day drifted on I knew my feelings for Rayla where creeping back.
It felt painful.
She didn't like me..
She was marrying Tiger in two days.
My heart ached exactly like after that day.
After the day she kissed me and then didn't  want to be with me.
I still have no clue why I keep beating myself up about her.
I have a girlfriend. Claudia!
I put my head in my hands.
Just two more days Callum then she can leave you for ever...
No ones POV.
Callum's eyes widened as Rayla walked under and out the doorway.
The violet dress did look amazing on her!
He then glanced away and felt tears in his eyes.
Claudia was waring a dark purple dress.
Rayla then smiled at Tiger.
Claudia to Callum But Callum wasn't looking.
They stepped up into the wagon.
And went in a wagon to the town.
The boys stayed in the castle.
"They got it lucky.",Soren moaned as he stomped back to the throne room.
"Yeah..But we have a royal wine cellar..we could probably get wasted!",Ezran chuckled.
Tiger laughed aswell so did Soren.
"No Ezran you 15..",Ezran smiled faded.."Come on guys!I'm king!Ill be ok if I just have one!",They all started to laugh.
Callum though was not laughing Infact he didn't feel anything.
He downed loads of beer and the guys had worried looks on there faces.
"Eh Callum you've been like this for days what's going on?", Soren asked slightly concerned for one of his best mates.
Callum drank more and Tiger smacked it out o Callum's hand.
"Ok that's enough!", He snapped and smacked Callum against the wall.
"FOR FIVE FUCKING DAYS CALLUM! FOR FIVE FUCKING DAYS IVE BEEN CLEANING UP AFTER YOU!FOR FIVE FUCKING DAYS IVE SEEN YOU GET WORSE AND WORSE! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG?!"
Callum flinched at Tigers words and Ezran and Soren both jumped out of there skin.
Callum finally took the act of and cried.
He cried and cried.
"I don't want to live anymore!", He then leaned close to tiger,"Why'd she choose you?!"
He sobbed some more,"She's taken I'll never get her back!", he sobbed and then puked afterwards.
Tiger stepped back.
They all froze.
"Y-you what..", Ezran said and knelt down and hugged his brother.
Tiger was still frozen..
"She's taken I'll never get her back.", repeated in his head.
He was to drunk to realise what this meant and he poured him self another mug of wine.
He shrugged.
"I don't know what to say.", Soren said and fell into his chair.
Callum got up and walked to the throne room.
"Hey I'm the king of—", he then fell asleep in the throne.
"Leave him I think we should all rest.", Ezran said.
They all nodded.
"Oh shit I have to get home.", Soren shouted and ran of.
Tiger walked to his room and flopped on the bed.
His mind forgotten what Callum had said..

So what do you think is gonna happen?
And also I hope I haven't made tiger out to be a bad guy he was just angry at Callum.
Also Ezran didn't drink.
