8. Be mine

Nova's POV:

Esme, Frankie, mom and I are all sat in the cinema room with our pjs and face masks on watching the note book, much to Frankie, mom and my protest.

My phone starts ringing and Harper's name pops up so I stand up and walk outside to answer it.

"Hey babe." I said while lighting my cigarette.
"Hey baby girl, how are you?" She asked happily.
"I'm good what about you?" I asked.
"Girl I'm brilliant, but what the fuck is going on with Jordan? Dante won't stop asking me to ask you why your aren't replying?" She sounded mad.
"He knows what I do but I can't bring him into this world." I sighed while breathing the smoke out of my lungs.

"Girl he doesn't care. You obviously like him and he likes you so why the fuck are you pushing him away? You know he isn't like Ace. Also he needs to tell you something. He said since you told him your secret he should tell you his." She whispered the last part.
"Do you know what it is?" I asked worriedly.
"Yeah and honestly Nov it makes me trust him more." She sighed.
"Okay. I'll call him, also I've moved back in with mom and dad for a while." I smiled even though she can't see me.
"Why?" She asked confused.

"I just feel lonely at the apartment." I sighed.
"Well I'll move in with you. Mom and dad want me out and I can't afford an apartment on my own." She suggested and I can't help but smile.
"Yes oh my god yessssss. You can move in whenever, I'm gonna stay here for a while. Don't worry about rent, I own it." I said excitedly.
"I can't expect you to pay nova." She sighed.
"Girl I want to." I smiled.
"Okay well I'm paying for food then." She chuckled and so did I.
"Okay I can deal with that." I giggled.
"Okay now that's sorted, go and talk to Jordan." She yelled before we both laugh.
"Okay babe. I love you." I cheesed.
"I love you too baby girl." She said before blowing a kiss.

I throw my cigarette out and text Jordan quickly.

Any chance you can meet tonight? I wanna explain everything x

And with that I run back to the cinema room to tell everyone what I'm doing and mom and Frankie look jealous.

I run into the bathroom and wash my face mask off. I throw on an overdose grey hoodie, over my pjs and I grab my keys.

I finally pull up to Annie's and I see Jordan smoking next to his car like the first time. I take a deep breath and walk over to him.

He smiles when he sees me and I can't help but smile.
"I like your outfit." He chuckled and so did I.

"I'm sorry." I blurted out.
"I panicked, I didn't want you to get thrown into this world, your too pure for it. I really like you and I wanted you to have a normal life, that's not possible for me." I sighed. He threw his cigarette out and pulled me into his arms.

"My life is never going to be normal, that's what I wanted to tell you." He sighed while pulling away and looking at me but holding my shoulders.

"I've got a son, he's five. His mom left the the day we came home from the hospital." He sighed while closing his eyes.

At first I'm shocked but I can't stop the smile on my face. I reach my hand up to his cheek and his eyes open instantly.
"That's doesn't bother me." I smiled. He grinned before grabbing my face in his hands and kissing me passionately.

When I kiss Jordan it's different then when I kissed Ace. Every time Ace kissed me it was rough and always led to sex, with Jordan it's soft yet hungry but I can feel the passion.

His tongue swipes my bottom lip and I happily give him access. He grabs the back of my neck and deepens the kiss as I pull the side of his white shirt to pull him closer.

We both pull away breathlessly, he rests his forehead on mine as we both catch our breath.
"I still want that job." He smirked.
"You gotta train?" I tested him.
"Nothing I'm not used to." He chuckled.
"Okay, tomorrow?" I asked. He pecked my lips quickly before replying. "Tomorrow."

"I want you to meet my son." He smiled.
"Really?" I couldn't help but smile wider then him.
"Really." He chuckled.
"Yeah." I nodded before kissing him again.
"His name is Michael." He smiled proudly.
"I like it." I giggled.
"This is what he looks like." He said while pulling his phone out and showing me a picture.

"Damn, I bet he's already a heartbreaker." I laughed and so did he.
"He will probably try his luck with you and all." He replied while laughing.
"Worried?" I giggled.
"Petrified." He chuckled while shaking his hands about.
"Do you wanna meet him now?" He asked. I look into those deep chocolate eyes I adore so much and take a deep breath before nodding my head. He smiles and hugs me before getting me into his car.

The drive to his apartment only took about ten minutes. I was slightly scared to meet Jordan's son because if his son doesn't like me then Jordan and I can't be together.

Jordan helps me out the car and holds my hand while walking to his apartment. He unlocks the door and we walk in together. He smiles and me encouragingly before we walk into the living room.

"Maggie, thank you for looking after him on such short notice." Jordan said while pulling out his wallet and handing her fifty dollars.
"Thank you Jordan." She smiled before leaving.

"Mikey?" Jordan called out.
"Dad?!" A little voice yelled while running into the room and into Jordan's arms. Jordan lifts him up and kisses his cheek which Michael wipes away.

"And who's this pretty girl?" Michael winked at me.
"This is Nova, daddy really likes her." He whispered the last part but I still heard it.
"What like I like Emily?" Michael asked.
"Yeah." Jordan nodded.
"Is she gonna be my mommy?" He asked hopefully.
Jordan and I just look at each other, unsure what to say.
"I don't know yet bud." He said awkwardly.
"Can I show you my cars?" He asked me excitedly.
"Yes." I said just as excited, and I mean it. I fucking love cars.

Michael and I played with his cars for about forty minutes while Jordan just watched us but I was to interested in the game to notice him.

"Do you like my daddy?" Michael asked me.
"Yeah I do." I smiled.
"Good cause I want a little sister." He giggled and so did I.
"I want kids someday." I smiled.
"How about tomorrow?" He asked with a smile.
"Takes a bit longer then that." Jordan chuckled.
"Are you having a sleepover?" Michael asked me with puppy dog eyes.
"It's up time your dad?" I shrugged.
"Do you wanna have a sleepover Nova?" Jordan asked with a smile.
"You got a spare toothbrush?" I asked.
"Yeah." He laughed.
"Okay then." I smiled while clapping and rubbing my hands together.

"Ok Mikey time for you to go to bed." Jordan said sternly.
"Can you read me a story nova?" He asked. I looked at Jordan who just nodded so I agreed.

I left Michaels room while Jordan got his pjs on and then Jordan called me back in. Michael was led down in his blue race car bed while Jordan handed me a book. I sat on the edge of the bed while Jordan sat on the chair next to his draws and I began reading.

Michael feel asleep quickly so Jordan and I left and went to his room.

We brush out teeth together and he throws me over his shoulder when we are done and carries me to his bed.

We cuddle up together, I rest my head on his shoulder with my arm and leg over him. He's holding me close to him and my eyes begin feeling heavy.
