Nova's POV:
It's been two months since we spoke. We've never heard from Rose again or seen her around.
I'm now eight months pregnant and Jordan and I still haven't decided on a name. We both know this might be our only child together so we want to have the perfect name but nothing has come up.
Right now it's just Michael and I at home because Jordan has gone to the diner to get us diner because I don't really feel like cooking with how big I am now.
"Momma how long is daddy going to be? I'm hungry." He pouts while snuggling in closer to my side. "Not long baby but I'll call him." I smile before kissing his head and standing up, walking into the kitchen.
Before I can click on Jordan's contact my dad begins calling me so I answer it. "Hello?" I smile until I hear heavy breathing and panic instantly sinks in.
"Daddy?" I breath out. "Baby! Baby you gotta go to Annie's. I just got a tip from an officer their going for Jordan and from what the guy told me, he isn't getting out alive." He says making my heart drop.
"Dad I thought we were above them! Tell them to stop!" I shout making Michael run into the kitchen with a worried look on his face. "Baby I'm doing everything I can just meet us all there, I love you." He says before hanging up.
I call Jordan to tell him what's going on and luckily he answers. "Hey baby." He sighs making me know he already knows.
"You've spoken to my dad?" I ask while putting mine and Michaels shoes on and walking out to my jeep.
"Yeah baby but listen don't come here please." He begs making my heat break as I strap Michael then myself in. "Let me talk to him baby." He says making tears burn my eyes because I know he is saying goodbye.
"Buddy?" Jordan asks making me smile. "Daddy what going on?" Michael asks worriedly. "Everything is okay buddy okay but you gotta listen to daddy real quick." He says as I drive closer to the diner.
"Okay daddy." Michael replies. "This world can be a cruel place okay and you will see as you grow up that not everybody treats people who look like us how we deserve to be treated but as long as we know our value and we stick together we'll be okay. Michael I need you to be strong for mommy and daddy and when your little sister comes along I need you to teach her everything I taught you and love your mother and sister for me as well." He says making me sob silently.
"Okay daddy I will! I love you daddy." He smiles brightly making my heart brake. "I love you too Michael more then you'll ever know." Jordan whispers before I turn my phone off speaker so I can talk to him.
"Why are you saying goodbye." I cry making him sigh. "I'm being realistic baby, we always knew this could happen." He says making me shake my head. "No we promised to be here for each other always." I whisper yell. "I may not always be here physically but I will always live in yours and our children's heart." He says making me burst into tears once again.
"Please don't loose faith! I'm right around the corner." I say before I hear police sirens and flashing lights come from behind me. "It's too late baby. I love you Nova, thank you for making me a man strong enough to handle everything. And never forget what I said on our wedding day." He says making more tears run down my face. "Don't you dare say goodbye to me Jordan." I whisper with pain in my voice.
"Never baby but please just tell me you love me." He replies weakly as I park next to my dad and his guys. "Watch Michael! I'm going in." I say as they all shout to stop me. I walk into the diner to see Jordan sat on the stall with his head down and phone against his ear. "Nova?" He says into the phone.
"I love you Jordan Holt. Now and forever and I promised I would be with you for everything in life. I will fight for you and our family like I always have and I will not sit at home waiting for a call to tell me that you've died. I can't raise our children alone Jordan so don't give up on us because you know I never would." I cry making him turn around with tears in his eyes. He instantly pulls me into his arms as we both cry.
"I see you've got everyone out." I say trying to change the mood as the sirens get closer. "Couldn't let anyone else get hurt." He says while wiping his cheeks and grabbing my face. "I love you Nova. Never forget that and show our children how much I love them." He says making me shake my head. "I won't have to Jordan." I say making him smile and kiss me lips passionately. "That's why I fell in love with you. Never afraid of anything and the love and power you have within yourself." He says making me smile.
Suddenly around twenty five police officers barge into Annie's making me hug Jordan tighter.
"Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to step away from him." One of them says making me turn around and smile proudly at them. "I made a vow." I say
making them chuckle before I burst out laughing. "Your all dumb as fuck." I laugh making them look at me confused while Jordan just smirks at me.
"Now I might be heavily pregnant but luckily for me my brain hasn't gone to mush just yet." I say while walking closer to them until my eyes land on the Lieutenant and I stop right in front of him.
"Lieutenant James, always a pleasure." I smirk making him gulp and look at me with fear in his eyes. "Nova." He nods making me smile. "Now I have a question." I say while walking away and pointing at him. "How come I pay your wages and there are guns pointed and my husband and I?" I ask while tilting my hand making them all look shocked.
"No answer?" I yell at the top of my lungs making all of the police officers flinch. "W-well w-we have b-been working w-w," lieutenant James starts before I cut him off. "Every time you stutter I will shoot one of your men." I say as I quickly whip my gun and push it hard against an officers head.
"We had somebody higher up wanting rid of Jordan, we've also been working with a girl called rose who wants him dead." He says making my body fill with rage. "It's ME who pays you so you answer to me! And for rose she has no business in Jordan or I. She left her little boy alone with his father and thinks she has rights to him?" I ask rhetorically before laughing.
"Damn I guess pregnancy makes me a little crazier." I laugh while moving the gun off of the officer. "So how are we going to resolve this?" I ask while looking at them all. "By doing my job." An officer says before his hun goes off.
"NOOOO!" I scream at the top of my lungs as I see Jordan fall against the bar and blood becomes coming out of his mouth. I instantly shoot the officer in the head making the people around him scream as his blood and brains land on them. My father and his men come barging in and taking down or killing the officers while I run to Jordan who smiles weakly at me.
"I'm proud of you baby." He mumbles as he brushes my hair off my face and holds my face. "It wasn't enough." I sob making him shake his head. "Yes it was. I'm proud of you Nova Holt and I love you and our babies. Tell them everyday I love them." He says before his eyes begin fluttering. "No! No! Baby!" I scream while holding him in my arms as the ambulance sirens get closer.
