It's been three months since Jordan I went to the Bahamas and got engaged. We celebrated our one year anniversary last week so my mom, abuela, Nonna, Frankie, Esme, Alex, Harper, Raven, Star, auntie Lucy, auntie Sofia, auntie Carly, Mayze and Shay are all at a wedding dress shop helping me pick out my dress because the wedding is next month.
"I can't believe my little baby is getting married." My mom says while hugging me from behind as we look at all the dresses. "Mom stop." I laugh while turning around to look at her to see she has tears in her eyes. "My little angel is not a baby anymore." My Nonna says making us all laugh before a young women with blonde walks over to us with a smile.
"Do you guys need any help?" She asks making me nod. "Any kind of idea what style you want?" She asks making me shake my head as she smile and leads me into the changing room where she then brings in around ten dresses for me to try on.
I show each of them to everyone and none of the dresses are right until she walks in holding it and instantly my eyes widen is hope. I quickly try it on and she helps me while making temporary adjustments so I can see how it will look. My eyes fill with tears as I look in the mirror at my dream dress. She helps me walk out and once everyone sees me all their mouths fly open.
"That's the one!" Harper say while Frankie and my sister Esme nod in agreement. "It's perfect." Auntie Lucy says while all my aunties mumble a yes. "My baby." My mom says while standing up and walking over to me and pulling me into her arms as we both cry.
"This is the one." I say while looking at the mirror to see everyone smiling at me.
We pay for the dress after getting my measurements so that it can be ready for the wedding next months on the 18th of April.
We end up all going out to eat after everyone else finds their dresses and begin making our way back to Kingston from the city.
"So who is going to be your maid of honour?" My mom says with Frankie, Esme, Alex, Harper and I in the car while everyone else made their own way home.
"Well I didn't know who to pick but I thought about it and I'm having two, Harper and Frankie." I smile making them both squeak. "And Alex I was wondering if you would help me get ready?" I ask making her nod with tears in her eyes. "Yo Justin and I are going to make you look bomb as fuck." She says making us all laugh.
We eventually arrive back in Kingston, mom dropped me off last before driving home with my sisters. I walk into the house to hear they boys shouting so I run into the living room to see them play fighting.
"You two scared me to death." I say while bending over with my hand on my chest trying to calm down. "I'm sowwy mommy." Michael pouts and my heart melts, even though he can say sorry he always says sowwy when he feels really bad. "It's okay baby boy." I say kissing his head making him smile and run away.
Jordan walks up to me and smiles before pulling me into his arms. "I'm sorry baby." He says making me sigh into him. "It's okay papi. I just thought something was wrong." I say making him grab my chin and smile at me. "I love you, I love how much you love our little family." He says making me smile wide.
"It's the most perfect little family." I say before kissing him a few times before pulling away. "Do you ever feel funny that Michael isn't biologically yours?" He sighs making me smile and shake my head.
"Nope! He's my little baby boy, blood or not I love him like my own because in my heart he is." I say making him smile and spin me around and I laugh and cling onto him.
"You really are perfect Nova." He says before kissing me. We pull away when my phone begins ringing and I see Frankie a name appear.
I quickly answer it to hear her crying which makes panic take over my body.
"Bub what's wrong?" I say quickly. "Can you come pick me up, I just want to talk to you." She says making me nod and grab my keys. "I'm on my way bub okay just stay calm. Everything will be okay." I say before kissing Jordan and running to my car.
Ten minutes later I arrive at my parents house and run in and straight to Frankie a room to see her on her bed crying.
"Baby what's wrong." I say pulling her into my arms. "I don't want anybody to hate me." She breaths out as I stoke her hair calmly. "Nobody could ever hate you Frankie now tell me what's happened." I say grabbing her face and making her look into my eyes as she sighs.
"I-I think I'm bi." She says making me sigh with a smile at her as she looks at me confused. "That's perfectly fine baby, why you so worried about it?" I ask making her breath in while trying not to cry.
"What if people look at me differently or judge me? What if when Michael grows up he thinks I'm gross or if mom and dad look at me differently." She cries making me pull her into my arms again.
"Frankie were family, we love each other through everything. It's doesn't matter if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend, your still the same Frankie we all love. Who you date doesn't define you." I say making her look at me and smile.
"Thank you Nova." She says hugging me. "What brought all this on?" I say making her sigh before she gets comfortable as I do the same.
"Not long after Jackson and I broke up I went to a party with some friends and I got drunk and had sex with this girl, her names Jayna. We kept talking and I really like her, I tried to tell myself it was just a drunk hook up and I was straight but I was just lying to myself. I think I've always known I was just too scared because I didn't want people to judge me." She says making me smile.
"Nobody will judge because you love somebody, not the people that love you. We just want you to be happy and healthy." I say making her smile and wipe her face. "So have you got a picture of her." I say excitedly making her laugh while going on her phone.
