Kuchisake Onna was a young woman who was married to a Samurai. Her husband thought she was cheating on him and he slit her mouth from ear to ear as punishment.
"Who will think you're beautiful now?" He screamed at her.
Now she walks around during foggy nights, with her face covered by a surgical mask.
Kuchisake Onna is known to carry a large pair of scissors and preys on children. If you cross her path, she will ask you a question.
"Am I beautiful?"
She will tear off her mask and reveal a deformed face. Her mouth is sliced from ear to ear, revealing rows of sharp teeth.
"Am I beautiful NOW?!" She will scream at you.
If you say "No", she will pull out a large pair of scissors and kill you by chopping off your head.
If you say "Yes", she will take her scissors and slice YOUR mouth from ear to ear so you will look just like her.
If you run away from her, she will hunt you down and slice your body in two.
According to Legend, the only way to escape from Kuchisake Onna is to say, "You look average." This will confuse her and give you enough time to run away.
Some people say that her slit mouth is the result of a plastic surgery that went horribly wrong or she was an escaped mental patient and cut her own mouth apart.
