The Red Room

The Red Room is a creepy Japanese urban legend about a pop-up that appears when you are on the Internet. It is said that if you close it, you will die..

There was a boy who was addicted to the Internet. He heard about The Red Room from one of his friends at school.
He tried to find out more about it when suddenly, a small window popped up with a red background. The words were written in black.

The message said, "Do you like--?"

The boy closed the red window but it popped up again. He kept trying to close it but it just kept re-appearing. Eventually, the question changed.

The message said, "Do you like the Red Room?"

In the background, he heard a child-like voice ask, "Do you like the Red Room?"

Suddenly, the screen went black and a list of names appeared in Red. The boy saw the name of his friend at the bottom of the list.
The same friend who told him about the Red Room...

Something appeared behind him and he lost consciousness.

The boy didn't show up for school the next day. The next day, his classmates heard about what happened to him..

He committed suicide, painting his room red with his blood....
