The sound of a door sliding open was what awakened (Y/n), a soft thud as it rested against the wall. Looking over he saw Yumeko standing in the now opened doorway. "It looks like you're finally awake, (Y/n)," Yumeko stated, a gentle smile gracing her face.
After blinking out most of the tiredness from his eyes, (Y/n) replied, "How long was I out for? I feel like I just fell asleep for a year."
Laughing, Yumeko brushed a few stray black hairs out of her face and replied, "Not quite. You were out for 2 weeks. To be honest, I'm surprised you aren't dead. The way you looked in the car made me feel like I was hauling a corpse and not a person."
"Oh, uh, thank you for saving me. I have to ask though, why? You also knew where I would land too."
Putting a finger on her lips, she replied, "We haven't forgotten your mother, (Y/n), she saved us and for that, we were indebted to her. Though it's just me now to pay it off. I suppose I have, with saving your life and all that."
(Y/n) rolled his eyes at that, "Thank you for making me feel wanted, Yumeko." His response merely caused her smile to grow wider.
"I insist that you tidy up, then join me downstairs. I've taken school off, too, so I also need to return to that."
"How many days have you missed?"
"I just told you, although indirectly I suppose. Two weeks, same length as you've been unconscious."
"Is she okay with it?" (Y/n) asked, concern in his voice.
"The President? She seemed interested in this, so she allowed me to stay. Granted, Ryota brought me my homework."
Nodding (Y/n) made a shooing gesture, "I'll get ready now, I'd appreciate it if you left." Yumeko dipped her head into a nod and left, leaving the teen to get ready on his own.
Seeing the bathroom door open, (Y/n) went in and took a quick shower before returning to the room he was in previously.
He reached over and opened the bag that Yumeko left on the chair next to him, and saw a set of clothes to put on. For some reason, it looked like a school uniform. It was mainly a red jacket with black trim and a pair of dress pants.
Nodding to himself, he put the clothes on and went down to the main lobby. Yumeko smiled when she saw him.
"In case you're wondering, that's the Hyakkaou school uniform. No, you're not going there. It's just the easiest way to get a pair of clothes in your size."
"Okay then, anything else?"
"Not really, no. Just one thing, please return here tomorrow night at 9:00 PM." Yumeko said.
Raising an eyebrow, (Y/n) tilted his head slightly, "If you say so, I suppose."
Yumeko clapped her hands when (Y/n) agreed, "Great, I'll see you then. I have to go to school now, bye (Y/n)! Just make sure to lock up before you leave."
(Y/n) stared at Yumeko leaving and shook his head, mumbling to himself, "She's...different."
He shrugged and grabbed his scythe, "I just got to find Roman now."
As (Y/n) left Yumeko's house he saw a sign that pointed him in the direction of a bullhead travel ship. "A-43, destined for Vale at 8:00 AM. Wait," Quickly glancing at a clock, (Y/n) saw that it was turning 8:00 in fifteen minutes.
"Crap!" (Y/n) chanted as he ran towards the airport.
"Sir, that would be 500 lien."
Pulling out his wallet, (Y/n) pulled out a card and handed it to the clerk. "Thank you, sir. Although by the looks of that uniform, you're supposed to be going to that private school."
