I make my way down the grand staircase. As I approach the last step I see Kieron and Greyson in the foyer. I go to the Alpha and he smiles at me. He gently grabs my hand and kisses each knuckle, in return I give him a fake smile that looks real. Kieron kisses my temple and wraps his arm around my waist. My mother's mate doesn't even touch her, I smiles sadly at her.
Kieron leads me out of the pack house and into the black car. The car ride was quiet, I sat next to the Alpha, him on my right and my mom sits in front of me with the Beta next to her. I refuse to sit next to that monster.
"How is your back?" I look up at the Alpha. "It's doing a lot better." I give him a fake smile. I mentally roll my eyes when I hear a cough from the Beta." The look on his face itself pisses me off. "I hope you learned your lesson child." I resist the urge to growl.
"You can sure hope so." sarcastically says my wolf side.
'What the hell Hilda?!'
'Sorry, I can't control it!'
'Yah you can, thanks now you just made Mr. Grumpy more grumpy.'
'Hey if it wasn't for my magical healing properties you wouldn't be alive right now, so I suggest you shut up'
'Fine Hilda! Why do you have to be so rude? Were in the same boat together. If you go down I go down too.'
'Gosh I can't believe I'm having this argument with my wolf'
I block her out when I hear Greyson.
"I demand the respect and to be called by my status by you!" I scoff not really caring anymore.
"And what's that?" I sneer.
He growls and Kieron's hold on my hand tightens.
"I am your FATHER!"
I growl. "You aren't, never were, and never will be my father!"
He growls at me his wolf trying to take over.
Kieron pulls me closer. "There is no need, you will no longer punish your future Luna-" I actually have hope for once. 'He's not that bad I guess.'
"-I will do it myself." His voice sounds dark, matching the smirk on his face. 'Nevermind!' I look down at my lap and the ride goes quiet again.
'What a snob sadistic jerk!' thought Hilda
When we get to the palace Kieron helps me out of the small limo, up the stairs, and into the palace.
The architecture of the palace is beautiful. From the elegant details of the large grand entrance to the towering turret's. This place is truly remarkable!
Kieron leads me through the halls, I don't bother to look around, even though I really do want to observe everything in this grand castle. From the paintings on the walls to the glass figures hanging from the ceiling. But I don't want Kieron to wait, which would make my punishment worse. I walk through giant gold doors, arm and arm with the Alpha into the ballroom.
Kieron parades us around, introducing me to multiple Alpha and Lunas.
'I know I'm a wolf Alphie, but I'm not your pet dog. So stop parading my girl around like she is your new Barbie doll that you got for Christmas.'

I see my dad when Kieron was talking to an Alpha from another pack. I kindly excuse myself and quickly walk over to him.
He's talking to his Beta when I make my way over. He sees me and smiles. His blue eyes brighten up and his brown hair bounces as he laughs at whatever his Beta says. "My daughter, how have you been?" I sigh. "In pain dad, he gets worse everyday." He frowns and nods. "Why don't you and your mother leave with me Jalisa? Your twenty, leave with me and Catherine. You'll be happy and safe from harm and him."
