Fate of Realities

[S21] Episode 1: A New Flight

"Ikarus.." yelled the girl, "Oi..! Ikarus! Wake up already!"

"H-huh?" mumbled Ikarus in confusion as Kitsune shook him off the bed, "Wha?"

"Come on!" complained Kitsune, "It's time for breakfast. Geez, ever since we've arrived at the Heavens it's always eat and sleep for you."

"The Goddess Majestika said that our troubles are finally over, and that we should just relax," mumbled Ikarus, stretching and yawning as he followed Kitsune to the cafeteria.

"You've got to at least have some activity," replied Kitsune, "Who knows what's bound to happen, or if the other Arcs were to call us? It's only been a week ever since Azarthoth was killed too."

Ikarus wasn't listening. He had already been scooped up in the long lunch line, quick to come out with heaps of food ranging from turkey to ice cream. He ate heavily on the lunch table as Kitsune stared at him with disappointment.

"That's not even the kind of food that you eat for breakfast, Ikarus.." sighed Kitsune as she sat beside him, picking off tiny pieces of food from his food pile.

Suddenly, Andrew was behind Ikarus, tapping on his shoulder, "Eating again, Ikarus?"

"Yes sir!" smiled Ikarus as he kept eating his food.

"Well, hate to break it to ya," announced Andrew, "But your breakfast is gonna be cut short. The Goddess Majestika is calling for you. You might as well come too, Kitsune."

The three entered the chamber where the Goddess Majestika was resting on a chair. Beside her was a desk with a few papers, as well as the orb that she uses to see the events that would happen in certain Reality Squares.

"We have arrived, my Goddess," announced Andrew.

"Thank you, Andrew," replied the Goddess Majestika, "You may leave now."

Andrew left and closed the chamber, leaving Majestika, Ikarus, and Kitsune inside the room. As Ikarus and Kitsune stepped forward, Majestika gathered her papers and prepared her explanation.

"So what did you call us here for, Goddess Majestika?" asked Ikarus.

"There's something go wrong today, Ikarus and Kitsune," explained Majestika, "As a Goddess, I have these kinds of feelings that hit me. They're usually present when things aren't where they supposed to be, for example, when a Law Shift occurs or during Azarthoth's reality eating.

I call these anomalies, which can also be detected by certain machines if they're advanced enough. Anyways, I've been detecting three huge anomalies recently, as if they had grown in power. They're not as strong as a Law Shift, or Azarthoth's reality eating, but I can tell that they're there, and they're present. If they were to grow, who knows what could happen."

"Anomalies.." mumbled Kitsune, "Is this bad?"

"Do you want us to go find them, Goddess Majestika?" asked Ikarus, "I could call the rest of the Arcs, and we can head over to the certain Reality Squares and find a way to make them stop!"

"That's the thing, Ikarus," said the Goddess Majestika as she pointed at her orb, "Usually, when anomalies would occur, I would try to find them myself using the Orb of Truth, however I cannot find a connection. It's as if these anomalies are preventing me from seeing them."

"An anomaly stronger than the Orb of Truth?" asked Ikarus, "Just how strong are these anomalies? We can find them using our starship right?"

"Yeah," continued Kitsune, "Is it possible to find them with the other Arcs like Ally and Olivia?"

"It would take time," replied Majestika, "They could be anywhere within the nine Reality Squares, and I don't think we have enough time to search through them all. Not only that, but you all don't have my senses of a Goddess, so you wouldn't know where to look.

And I can't go with you guys, because my duties as a Goddess bind me to the World of Sea. I have to stay here and manage the Heavens after all."

"So.. is there really no way to stop these anomalies from happening?" asked Ikarus.

"We have a chance," replied Majestika as she walked over to her chair, grabbing the papers from the desk, "You see, there's this one anomaly that has been approaching the Heavens for a long time. In fact, it's still approaching and coming soon! We need your help in possibly restraining this anomaly, Ikarus and Kitsune."

"Don't worry!" said the both of them, "We'll do all we can to help!"

The three walked out of the chamber and stood at the landing pad, where the Goddess Majestika calculated where the anomaly would appear. Soon, a flashing light blinded the three of them as angels readied their bows for this strong anomaly.

Once the light cleared, the Goddess Majestika gasped at the sight of the familiar anomaly.

"This is.." mumbled Majestika, "Will Ramuri!"
