Chapter 6: The Lion, Protector

Harry's POV

After he unboxed all the food I was shocked. Like so much food! I dug into the noodles and orange chicken and it was heavenly. Both Louis and I were munching away on the food and there was just too much to eat. More than I've ever seen for one meal actually. It felt very extravagant, but Louis said it didn't cost him anything, so I didn't feel too awful about it.

Honestly, I can't explain the overwhelming calmness I feel when I'm with Louis. I felt so comfortable so I snuggled into him on the couch even more after we ate. I was bloated and felt uncomfortable about my weight again. I pulled at my shirt around my gut and sighed a bit annoyed that I can't control my mouth with delicious food. "Why are you self conscious Harry?"  He asked and looked at me where my eyes landed, which was on my gut. "I've always had a tummy. Betas and alphas would tease me and... I don't know. It just makes me feel gross. Omega men are the only males like this." And he said, "You mean beautiful? Harry, your body is capable to hold a baby. Someday our baby. You're body is made like that. You're gorgeous." He said sweetly and my cheeks start to burn red. Did he want a baby with... me? I felt so happy I scrambled on top of his lap and wrap my arms around him. Much what a baby would do, but I just wanted to be physically close to my alpha.

"Um, Harry?", I hummed to let Louis know I was listening. "Don't buy any bigger sex toys, I want to be the biggest for you." He said and I wanted to die from embarrassment again. I nod into his chests and snuggle deeper. "Wait. Are you saying you're bigger than that?" I asked and looked up at him shocked. He chuckled and nodded. "That'll rip me apart!" I whine, and he started to rub my back lovingly. "No, when you're in heat you'll open right up for me. I'll still prepare you though, even if you're begging me to knot you right away. Oh and, I don't expect to bond with you until your ready, I won't force you and I respect what you want." He said while sniffing my hair. I hum happily and after a bit I looked around my room. Oh, right it was all unpacked. It was finished!

The whole room smelled of his and my scent and I started to unmount him when he gently grabbed me again. I giggle, and he put his face right in between my shoulder and neck taking my smell in again. "I love how you make me feel safe. More than anyone else. I honestly don't have many friends or people who care around me, and you.... you're so calming." I said as I bask in his affection.

We both eventually get up and start throwing away the lunch we just ate. Classes started on the 4th day of moving in so I had one day left before everything really started. I knew I needed to go purchase books for my classes and I groan internally reading the classes I had. I had English, math, psych, and dynamics and that wouldn't be cheap. 4 books...

Working really hard in high school I was able to get scholarships that took care of my tuition and half of the cost of dorm life, which means my parents had to get loans out for my books and living. It made me cringe when they told me the amount and I was forever grateful. "Hey , I'm going to need to get books before the last day rush tomorrow. Do you have yours bought?" I ask while stretching out my back because I had been hunched over to hug the larger man. "No, want to go get them now? Being an RA, we can skip the line." He chirped and I nodded vigorously with a smile. Everyone hated the bookstore with their overpriced candy bars and laughable prices for textbooks.

We both chit chatted while putting on shoes and going into the hall. There were strong bonded and non bonded scents in the air and I didn't realize we were also one of those couples. Walking past the common room both alphas and omegas looked all at the same time. The alphas in the common room started to hoot, and Louis smiled, and without looking at them raised his fist like, yes he's mine. I blushed hard and felt his arms snake around me and kissed my neck affectionately, not sexually, but I had to stifle the mini moan threatening to pop out.
