The shuffling of feet and murmured small talk quieted in the commons room as the RA stepped forward, calling for attention. He was unmistakably an alpha—tall, broad-shouldered, with that commanding presence that seemed to fill the space. With light brown hair and piercing ocean-blue eyes, he stood a solid 6'4", fitting neatly into the expected height range for alphas. It was almost comical how obvious it was. Alphas, regardless of gender, always towered between 6'3" and 6'5", while betas tended to fall between 5'10" and 6'0", and omegas usually stood somewhere between 5'6" and 5'9", if not shorter.

There are quite even numbers to each secondary sex, 33%, it's all about even with alphas, betas, and omegas.

The scents in the commons room were all blending together as the tall alpha took control of the space. The noise died down when he stepped forward and called out, "Right, everyone—shut it for a sec, yeah?"

He flashed a crooked grin, clearly enjoying the attention just a little.

"Welcome to Manchester Uni! I'm your RA, Louis Tomlinson. Yes, that Louis—no, not the one from the telly. And yeah, I am your resident alpha babysitter for the semester. Lucky you."
