Chapter 1: First Day of Uni

The shuffling of feet and small talk came to a stop in the commons room as the RA, the tall light brown-haired alpha called for attention. He was so obviously an alpha with his height it wasn't even funny. Alpha's, no matter female or male were always around 6'3"-6'5", betas were 5'10"-6'0", and omegas were 5'6"-5'9" or smaller. The ocean blue-eyed man was standing tall at 6'4" and had the telltale signs of being an alpha.

The scents were all mingling together as the alpha took control of the room, "Welcome to Manchester Uni. I'm your RA, Louis Tomlinson! I am here to help and explain how things work. I'm sure you can tell that it is a mixed secondary sex's dorm, which means rules and explanations will be given now. Manchester uni is open to all secondary sex's and your safety is the top priority. If you ever feel uncomfortable you need to inform a staff member or me. Now, when it comes to-. Okay this is awkward, but I'll breeze right through this." Louis said in a confident goofy way. "Now, your room is a private room and there are no rules on who can or can't sleep together, although be careful. Tell me when your cycles are on this sheet." He gives a clipboard and it got passed around. "I expect you all to be diligent and mature enough to know when they hit and with whom you actually want it with. I knew too many omegas and alphas that regretted with whom they either slept or bonded with and it takes a long time to shake those feelings. Even up to two years with heartache you couldn't believe. So be careful and always have your doors locked. If you're forgetful, having the door always locked will save you some hassle. Now onto alphas. I get how much a heat makes us alphas crave them, even strangers, but we're not freaking animals so keep your hands to yourself and don't be a dingus, understand? I am a the alpha RA to this floor of the dorm this semester and everyone will feel comfortable." He looked around while talking and finished the sentence strongly, "So once your rut hits, you're going to lock your door, and these locks are the best in the market, can't be simply broken, so don't get any ideas. For omegas, once your heat hits, you will also lock your doors. Both alphas and omegas will have time off and the university will allow those absences, also if you bond and mate, you have one week, cause of the usual real bonding time is about one week long and by law, your school or employers have to allow time for you. For your ruts and heats, a beta nurse will come in once every 3 hours to give you food and drink and will not help you get off. If they are mistreated or forced to do anything sexual we will call the police on you, so don't screw around. For the beta students, you lucky sons of guns, are basically allowed to be normal students as you don't have heats or ruts. Don't take advantage of the omegas in heats nor alpha's cause that is an offense that has to have the cops involved. Oh, which brings me to consent! Now, I'm mostly talking to the alphas, betas, and some overzealous omegas, but if you sexually assault or rape anyone, you will go to jail. Since the laws have changed two years ago, we have kept a strict ship around here. Omegas have just as many rights as anyone. I hope all omegas feel welcomed to our uni.", he took the clipboard from the last student and without looking up, "Oh and condoms, knotting, and non-knotting are here in the common room and will be restocked throughout the quarter. Be safe."
