"I stopped looking for you. I stopped searching for your face in every room I walked into. I stopped expecting to see you smile in my direction when we made eye contact because I no longer wait for you to pay attention to me. I finally realize that I shouldn't want to see you every second of every day because we are just friends. Just friends and that's all we'll ever be because she's the one you scan the room for. She's the one you want to make eye contact with in the hallways, and I'm not her."
