AFTER THE INCIDENT of the previous night, Evelyn and Elijah were currently in the compound's study, awaiting their brother's arrival as they wanted to know how Cami was doing after what had happened the other night. Evelyn was already holding a hatred towards the De Martels seeing they had ruined the most enjoyable moments from the past few days.
She held a lot of anger inside of her and after what Aurora had done to Cami, only to get back at Klaus because jealousy got the best of her which was why Evelyn wanted nothing more than to make the red-head suffer for her deeds. ''So, when Aurora had taken Cami, she compelled her to slit her own throat whenever Nik would confess his love?'' Evelyn questioned, looking up at her brother who slowly nodded his head in response.
''That's just bloody fantastic! I mean, what else does that woman want to ruin more for attention?'' Evelyn added angrily before she sat down on the couch, running a hand through her hair as a deep sigh slipped from her lips. ''And now, Cami has gotten in the crossfire.''
''Don't worry, sister, as soon as Niklaus comes, we will know about her well-being.'' Elijah assured her as he knew how worried Evelyn was about her friend after she had found out what had happened. Elijah turned his head towards the Hybrid who walked into the room with the same expression on his face as his brother and sister. ''How is she?''
''She has just risen from the dead. As soon as she feeds, her mood will change for the better.'' Klaus assured them quietly as though he was assuring himself, Evelyn crossed her arms over her chest as she walked over to stand beside Elijah as she waited for them to tell what the plan was. Klaus walked toward them, and his tone turned furious as he changed the subject to their enemies, ''In the meantime, these attacks need to be answered! Our retribution must be swift, and it must be brutal!''
Elijah nodded, ''Agreed. After the Serratura has been recovered.'' He answered, sighing in frustration and threw his coat onto the chair. ''Freya's pendant is also missing.''
Evelyn's eyes widened in surprise, ''Wait, that means Finn-''
''So let the imbecile stay lost! Our business for today is to finish off the De Martels!'' Klaus called out angrily which caused Evelyn to look even more concerned before she replied softly in an attempt to calm Klaus down, ''Nik, think. Think. Tristan needs the most powerful witch in the city to activate that weapon. A Regent.''
''Vincent. Who was once possessed by Finn.'' Klaus sneered before he rushed towards the door to leave, but was grabbed by Evelyn, stopping him in his track by holding onto his arm. ''It's better if you stay here. She'll need you, brother.'' Evelyn commented and Elijah nodded firmly in agreement.
