Chapter 2

'So he likes the Senator? But it is forbidden to have an attachment to other people? Right?' I was talking to myself in my room. 'I mean he is hot but-? I don't understand myself anymore.'

Knock Knock

I freaked out a little bit. I walked to my door and it was a handmaid of Padmé. 'The Senator would like to join you for diner, with the other Jedi's, to discuss the situation.' 

'Of course, I will be there.' I felt so honored, finally, I was involved with missions. Before the handmaid walked away she said 'Oh, I almost forgot to say that she would like to have you put on a dress, only if you want it.' And then she walked away. I closed the door. A dress? I haven't put on a dress in a very long time, maybe it is nice to put one again? 

I walked to my closet hoping for a dress and I saw the dress that my sister made me. It was a long, silk dress. It had a deep blue color and on the top were yellow little blooms. The sleeves were made of lace fabric. I knew immediately which dress I'm going to put on. Luckily I haven't grown that much the last three years. I tried it on and I said to myself 'It is like I fall in love with myself.' I felt so beautiful and I realized that I needed this, to feel like this. 

It was diner time, I went to the dining space and as soon as I entered, all eyes were on me. Padmé walked to me and said 'I knew you were a beautiful girl, but now, you're breathtaking!' I smiled to her 'Thank you My Lady, I was told you asked' 

'Yes I did.' Padmé walks back to her seat to welcome other important people. I turned around and Obi-Wan and Anakin greeted me 'Good evening (Y/N), you look just like your sister, so beautiful.' I smiled 'Thank you Master, I wished she could see the dress.'

'She would be proud of you.' Obi-Wan put a hand on my shoulder and walked away. I caught Anakin staring at me 'Hey Anakin, how are you?' He snapped back to reality 'Oh- Uh- Hey (Y/N), you look so magnificent tonight' He sounded a little bit nervous. He made me blush a little bit, hoping he didn't notice. After an awkward silence 'I think we should join Master Kenobi.' Anakin nodded and walked towards the table. 

'We need to find the perpetrator.' said the Senator. 'I agree and we do everything to can to catch that person.' Obi-Wan interrupted Anakin 'We are here to protect, not to start an investigation.' 

Protection is for the local security, not far an Jedi.' 

'We will not exceed our mandate, my young Padawan learner' I was just sitting quietly in the chair and I thought, he is quite stubborn. 'I meant that in the interest of protecting her, Master. An investigation is implied in our mandate.' I couldn't stand it anymore, there were making a big scene 'We will do exactly what the Council has instructed.' I looked a little bit annoyed everybody was looking. 'Perhaps with merely your presence the mystery surrounding this threat will be revealed.'

'At least (Y/N) know her place.' Anakin put his hand on his hips and turned to his master 'Oke well, ouch.' I tried not to laugh. 'You can learn some things from her, young one. Be mindful of your thoughts.' After the scene, they just created they went back eating. 

Anakin went to the balcony, I joined him. 'What happened?' He turned around he laughed 'This is quite normal, I am not really the person that listens to my Master.' He looked down. 'You were so desperate to find the killer.' He looked at me again 'Well, Me and Padmé go way back I don't want to left her on her own, I want to protect her.' I understand what he said, it made sense.

'You like her, don't you? He looked shocked he blushed a little bit.

'She loves somebody else'
